St.Marys  Alley marbles in Marble King bag.  Very common.  Can be this red header or yellow checkerboard header. Several different sizes or count bags. Can be mesh bags or plastic bags. Marble King on a package does not always mean Marble King Company.  Berry Pink marble jobber, salesman, marble promotor was known as Marble King. He packaged marbles with headers of Marble King. The marbles may be Alley, Peltier, Marble King or others. Berry Pink was good friends with L.E. Alley and part owner of Marble King Company. Berry Pink was partners with Alley and Rosenthal while Alley was located in Sistersville. Marble King sometimes means Berry Pink. He was the original Marble King.

Berry Pink was promoting the Marble King brand at least 10 years before the Marble King company was officially founded.

And for the first five or so years that the Marble King company existed, Marble King packaging was being filled with old Alley stock.
