marblenewbie
Thanks Chad, the unbumblebee is a disappointment, but it sure is pretty. Not sure I have ever heard of anyone purposely collecting Vacor, but some are very nice.
Chad G.
There is a big Vacor following, trying to get a bag of every vacor ever made, and some VHTF first runs. I believe a certain rendering of the "Scorpion" is the hardest to find ?? Vacor has been around since 1934., there only competition now is China. Vacor I/D. site, hope this helps bit. I have to use it continually just for the sheer number of differently named marbles they produced. This by no means I.D.'s all of them just the best Vacor (mega) site I know of. Vacors are for the most part very affordable, you do not have to freak out about opening a net bag--not yet anyhow-- and they made some really fine marbles as well. If you really want to hunt high-end Peltiers, you had better stock up with some Vacor marbles. Images are one thing--in hand is another. The 50mm marbles will be a collector marble of the future--if not right now---if you get a good one. I collect Vacor Atmosperes and get then when I can afford them-- (a future post is coming). There was a lot of 22 on e-bay that recently sold for over $60 bucks a piece. The same seller had a nice bunch earlier this year that were not ID'd---I still could kick myself for not shelling out a bit more on that bunch. Move on, or move over and forget--some are hard to forget. Marble--On!!! and Vacor on as well!!
Chad G.
I've seen many atmospheres sell for over $100.oo this year and many, many for just under $100oo, yes, certainly getting scarce and HTF. Wish I had started collecting them long ago when they were only a couple bucks each ??
marblenewbie
Thanks guys, you've made a believer out of me. Will definitely keep an eye out. Now if I could only find the good one I do have.
