Is Vacor trying to destroy the American marble market? After looking at all the variations, I am just a little depressed.

China has that & more, selling not by the millions but by the tons. Greed is # 1, I heard that MK will be out by the end of next year (the last American marble company) and China will soon be, if they haven't already, push out Mexico as the worlds largest producer of toy marbles. Not realizing of course they're cutting their own throat by overwhelming the market making even industrial marbles completely worthless. Unless somebody knows something I don't this is what I see !!

One of the marble sales sites from China, there are so many sites I couldn't list them, all very high quantity. I looked and seen everything Vacor makes plus I don't know how many different ones. $$ now, nothing later I guess ??

Man oh man, deja vu, same thing with the sports card world back in the late 90's early 2000's. There was a big boom in sales and prices for boxes, cases, sets and singles. Then all of a sudden companies started popping up everywhere. Before long, the market for sports trading cards was oversaturated and it crashed. The only ones worth any substantial money were short prints and graded cards. That fizzled too. Now, most of those brands are gone and Panini was running the "show". Now, with Covid19 happening last year, the market exploded again. It's still strong now, with records being set for sales at auction and online, but it will probably calm down sometime soon. I chose not to jump on the bandwagon by selling any of mine. Now I have heard Panini is selling its "brand", which I haven't had time to pursue this rumor. Yep, the almighty dollar for ya 😐

www.cardlines.com has information based on Fanatics, a company in Jacksonville, Florida that has secured the rights for production for the NFL, NBA, MLB, among others. Topps and Panini are still in business, but it would appear that Fanatics is cornering the market for Sports products....
