Called an "Alley Superman" fractures were very common in these due to the differing expansion and contraction rates or (COE, coefficient of expansion) of the glass, much like the Akro Superman, surface annealing fractures were common and usually occurred in the transparent red, or in your case the reddish orange ribbons. 2 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
