Marbleneophyte
I'm pretty sure its a Vitro but the unusual color combination has me wondering. Could it be imperial?
Ric
It's a pretty one. I doubt it's Imperial. And I can see why Vitro seems possible, but I am thinking about Master too . . .
Marbleneophyte
Could be Rick. Thanks for your input!
akroorka
Not an Imperial. I do not think that it is a Master either. Most Master marbles are not 50-50 in the coloration, side to side or cutoff to cutoff. No Marble King here imho. The separation at the cut-lines shows a white subsurface, suggesting a veneer type marble. The base is all white to the center no doubt. I would call this an early attempt at veneering. Vitro did this quite well. I think that you did well in your ID Marbleneophyte. Marble—On!!!
