Jeremysvt
any idea on who made these?
wvrons
Probably or most likely Jabo marbles. The decals could have been placed on the marbles by other companies or Jabo. I forget the exact year that Jabo started adding the decals and got the ovens to heat bake them on. Jabo paid for rights to use many old cartoon characters, and other logos. Jabo sold many tons of these marbles per year, for a few years before they added decals. I did not keep any list of all the logo marbles Jabo did. It was to many for me to list. Millions were sold single and millions were sold in blister packs of 2-3-4 or 6 different marbles in them.
Al Oregon
The Popeye marble was part of the Jabo character marbles. Here it is in the upper right of the Vol. 1 Popeye blister pack.
