When you get a marbles as a gift... (.63 Inch Yellow/Black Mib)

...but that means theres no extra information about them. These were included with an order for a Jabo Badger as a gift, but that means I have no idea what they might be. This has a really weird surface texture, almost like a matte feel rather than a shiny surface. I cannot tell if it's just old and lost it's luster or if that is how it was  as made/mint. I got it wet for the picture to help any of the pattern or swirls show through.

Vacor has many types of marbles that they may refer to as “frosted”. This one is a “Caterpillar”, a frosted version of a “Bumblebee”.
Beware however because there are a few folks selling marbles that have been tumbled in a rock tumbler that are being sold as “beach glass marbles”.
Beach glass marbles in their own right are a collectable marble—if you are into to these make sure that you are buying from a respected and well known beach glass collector.
Marble—On!!
