Gold flake? Who's the maker?

This marble caught my eye, it has a fragment in it and when i back light it there is more purple.

This looks mostly Vitro to me but it might be something else, like Marble King or Akro. It looks like a bit of contaminating glass or debris got into it - whatever it is doesn't really look metallic to me but I can't see it that well in the photos, either.

I would sort it as a Vitro.

That yellowish hunk is a bit weird.

I have often wondered how many times birds may have polluted marbles. The grit that they eat has to end up somewhere.
