Onionskins ID help

Recommended Posts

I believe this is my whole collection of onionskins. Can anybody help me identify the different varieties? Like Cloud, end of days, panelled, etc. Im fairly new to marbles and love learning about them, but their are soooo many variables to consider and that's where I start to get cross eyed §~]

Nice Marbles!  Pretty good collection so far.

You may have found there are quite a few "nuances" when it comes to marbles that help group by certain names or types.  Some collectors will even take it to the point of splitting hairs when it comes to the finest details of grouping marbles.  Not to mention the disagreement of certain terms and misinformation published in books over the years... but I think that's part of what makes it all fun!

So anyways!  Yes your marbles are handmade German, most fit the definition of Onionskin with a couple questionable as Joseph Coat or some other variation.  Welcome and good luck

@Chad G. is into this stuff as well.

I will tell you this much--Images with two or three marbles are more easily identified.

Get some images together and get ready for some info.

@I'llhavethat1 and @Chad G. will love to look more closely.

I may forgeting a few--add them if you know them folks.

Marble--On!!
