Pieces
Domestic associate comes home from his parent's house (the lifelong antique dealers) with these & says c'mon let's go work on the lawn. Apparently Daddy Dealer was out doing his dealings & ran across these! 2
akroorka
We are all honest here and many do not want to comment on a bad buy—I will. I just hope that you got these for free. The big red one is a Vacor. There are many Vacor in this bunch. The top image may show an Akro that may glow (Imperial—the best in this bunch)—lower left in the top of the egg crate. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble—On!!
Pieces
Oh yeah, I agree, nothing over the top or anything & he paid less than $5. He is VERY, um, I'll call it "frugal". A serious haggler. I was how daring the Domestic Associate coming home with a giant bin of mibs I've never seen before & saying let's go do yard work instead of looking through the mibs.
I'llhavethat1
I think it's pretty cool for someone to be looking out on your behalf. Quite the mix. Top pic has at least 3 decent Akros (Ades/ringers/Imperials...can never remember which is which). Some handmades (clay, Agate and beat up glass). And a bunch of machine made Vitros and catseyes. a fun batch to sort and learn from. As much as I like yardwork I like marbles more, lol 1 1 1

I get into one, get sucked down a trail of some sort, & forget the other! But the weather round here has been so wet lately that most days it's been all about mibs & lawn work's been all about potential flood mitigation, so not quite as enjoyable!!
cheese
I spotted one CAC, at least one Sistersville Alley, a Heaton Blueberry grape... not bad for under $5.
TheVacorFan
Spotted several nice things... A cool Akro -ade of some sort, some nice MKs and quite a bunch of lovely All-Reds (I like All-Reds, I think they look like candy)
