boris64
Thanks…… I have some boxes full of ones I bagged over the years. Since I am on medical from work waiting on a back operation I thought I might tear into one. Like treasure. I bought many before I really knew what I was looking at but had an eye for it. I now I got some good ones in there.

If these came from an “older” collection there are bound to be a few Alley Agates involved. I remember back when the Alley “Pistachio” was considered to be a valuable CAC. The diggers such as @Ric and @cheese blew this idea away. Image three—lower right—not too sure about that one. The “Snotty” thing—well I have never held one or seen one in person and I have always thought of these as a classic example of a named marble—give them a name and everyone wants one—not me—I do like the name though, no opinion here. The yellow slag is the very best slag ever made imho—I just love them. Yours is one imho—just not the best—but very cool to see. A little more white and this one would take off! Thanks for showing them all! Marble—On!!
boris64
Thanks! Love my marbles…. Love to show them off…love to have them appreciated…. Give all my love to those guys in the early 1900. Just remarkably fantastic skilled people. They left them here for us . I do treasure them.
