The Nickel Guy
In my recent purchase of a few hundred Vitros, three had deep cobalt blue transparent base glass with a white patch. Maybe that is just what it is. However, I wonder what the criteria is for a Blue Devil. I am thinking there is some tan or brown in the mix of the white. Like it is a little muddy that makes it one? Please post one if it rolls by. Thanks

Fire1981
Double Down ID on this one. $50-$75 mint or more. Blue Devils are all 7/8. Or 3/4. I’d have to check what size I have again. 🔥 RAR

The Nickel Guy Posted yesterday at 03:15 AM Author Report Share Posted yesterday at 03:15 AM Thank you so much for the clarification! My three are just the same cobalt with white patches in the 5/8th range. No muddy area inside the white on mine either which looks like another one of the requirements. When mine grows up it wants to be just like Fire's.
cheese Posted yesterday at 04:02 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 04:02 AM Blue devils are around 7/8" and have a cobalt blue base with white and purple. Can be somewhat of a swirl or a patch. The swirl type seems to be more common. There may be some rarer examples in smaller sizes and sometimes the white doesn't show much. 3

Nantucketdink Posted yesterday at 10:57 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 10:57 AM There are little Ravenswoods in these colors that are clearly too small to misattribute as blue devils, but are similarish in the totally wrong size 1
Nantucketdink Posted yesterday at 10:58 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 10:58 AM There are additionally some 3/4” JABO Classics in these colors that are easier to misattribute as blue devils because of the size. Picture may be harder for me to find hold on
