Roberto
I would like to describe some of these beautiful European marbles that were made in the Netherlands, Amsterdam, mainly at the renowned veiligglas glassworks, but also partly in Germany. Some of these marbles can have very twisted and busy wire or stripe patterns, others can have swan neck, flame, or even (as I consider them) calligraphic marbles that resemble the typical calligraphic marbles of Alley Agate. The latter seem to be found mainly in those with an amber base, followed by the purple ones. The first marble I will show features the classic and typical 'swan neck' pattern. There will be others with flaming patterns, very busy, calligraphic, etc. Good vision, I hope it's pleasant 1 2

Roberto
And here come what I call 'calligraphies' As I mentioned, it seems these are mostly found in those with an amber base, followed by purple. If any of you have ones with a blue or green base, please post them because I would love to see them. Thank you! Another point out would like to point out is the similarity to the calligraphic marbles of Alley Agate

SequoiaBET
Wow- those are killer marbles! Definitely one of my favorite types. Thanks for sharing! I don't see many of them for sale- does anyone know where one might go about obtaining some of them? I'd love to add some to my collection. Roberto
Oh, I don't think it's very hard to find them. Paradoxically to what is said, I found many of them right in the states themselves. This is the kingdom of marble collecting! But, I also found some in Italy First two, 'swan neck,' followed by flames, etc.
