It is sad. I have known Norm for many years. I have bought many marbles from him. Sami was kind enough to take me with him and Norm to the Los Angeles show last year. We talked all the way about marbles. I knew then how much he was failing and knew the end was near. It still doesnt lessen the blow. Sami you know how I feel about Norm and the good you did for him driving. May he rest now and play marbles forever.

A double ingot technically has 4 seams but could only show 2 seams. A double ingot is formed by 2 marbles coming together to form 1 marble. Where they come together is technically not a seam. Clyde
Thank you. I learned a lot more about handmades than I had previously known. They are most unusual so I think they will be keepers for a long time. Again thank you. Clyde
Thank you. I thought the same at first for the right one as English style, except that the panels are not the same as in an onionskin. That is why I thought it might be a Joseph's. You analysis could be right for the left one. Thanks Clyde
I have 2 handmades. The one on the right I think is a Joseph's coat but it's different with equal banding. The one on the left I have not seen this type. It is a clear base with equal ribbons on the the surface. What type would it be? Any response is appreciated. Thanks Clyde
