  1. It is a lodge/cafe/bait shop. Has big windows that have parial view of the lake.
  2. Sorry, new camera. Havent learned how to make smaller pics yet.
  3. Here in bay area of Cali we are drying out today and for the next few days we have sun. We had rain on/off all week. That means in few days John will be shoveling snow again LOL. Griff would have been torn last Sat. between marbles and fish as me and some friends went to Central Cali. for a small marble get together. It was held at our friend Bruce who owns a fishing resort at Lake Amador.
  4. I will be bringing 3 examples to Sami's marble meet tomorrow.
  5. I have have 2 of them. Not show stoppers for sure. Both have that oxidation of JVV. One of mine is same base as JVV except it has two snakes around the equator (green and yellow). The other is black and looks like it rods of red and yellow pushed through. Both around the 7/8". Both of mine came from Syria. I bug the ancient coin dealers who also get artifacts in my area all the time. I have a different theory than Galen's. I think they just were suppossed to be beads that didnt get the hole.
  6. In Steph's case she needed to left click to enlarge. Then right click to "save as" or save. If you do "save as" it lets you name the pic at same time and where you can select where it can go. For "problem" pic like auctiva protection the press the right and left click at same time usually works. it does take practice though.
  7. Here is a group shot of Pelt Grey Coats.
  8. I dont see any cane cut. We do find these type here in USA, but most are found on the east coast. I think most of these from Galen were bought from a seller here who imported from across big pond.
  9. They may think the seller can still give neg to them.
  10. Went to EBAY this morning. They didnt have to show me the door because I didnt get in the door. The reception area was way across the campus instead of front center I was told. I did get to talk to 2 lovely ladies that were going back to work in the toys building. The made a call for me and got this number for their fraud division. Which is in a different part of my city. Hope the number helps 408-376-7400.

  12. If same red galaxy that alan sold a couple years ago, that marble lives in Cali. Not mine. I wish was. The owner doesnt do the boards.
  13. Tattoo tears. That marble's a killer.
  14. If he still has his infinty program still going you just may be lucky enough to win and hide a planet. Back in '99 he started the infinty program where a person writes a story of where they would hide a planet. If he liked your story he would send you 2 planets with the infinity symbol signed on bottom. One planet you get to keep the other planet you hide. Your choice which you keep and hide. I was one the lucky first people to participate and win. And NO! I'm not telling where I hide it.
  15. When Les Jones died his wife Sue had a small amount of his ashes put in a few marbles for friends. It did burn up but it left a whirling pattern. I know Bill Tow received one. Not sure on the others. At one time he posted it right afterwards. Another example is that Scott Meyer tried with a real opal. Not the synthetics. It also burned up, but it too left a swirling pattern. Something akin to mica.
  16. Not a Green Lantern. Lantern's are green based with yellow ribbon and black avent. What it can be is a green hornet. If you ever want to sell please let me know.
  17. Thanks Craig. Your link didnt work for me. I did find this pick on its official site.
  18. This ride at Disney World describes a roller coaster with marble doors as you enter with over 7000 marbles. Anyone seen these doors and what kind of marbles they are? The band Aerosmith made a living off the old rock adage that "loud fast rules," and the Aerosmith-themed Rockin' Roller Coaster at Walt Disney World is just one example: it rockets guests from zero to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds. Each of the ride's "limos" is packed with 125 speakers powered by 32,000 watts of amplification -- almost loud enough to drown out the screams as riders pull 5 gs during the transition from the launch into the first upside-down loop. Astronauts in the Space Shuttle experience a little over 3 gs at launch. Before you go into the ride's studio tour, listen for the PA announcements -- the people being paged are the Imagineers who designed the ride. As you enter, take a look at the "marble" doors: they're covered with more than 7,000 marbles. And check your limo's license tag -- there's 1QKLIMO, UGOGIRL, BUHBYE (no longer on the limo because it "fell off"), 2FAST4U and H8TRFFC. As you get out of your limo, the voice you hear is Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler.
  19. Your marble Scott that you made is moving. Its going from Missouri to FT Meyers FL. I have tried to buy that marble myself from Jeff for myself but its no sale.
