  1. You know everyone here is trying so hard to help you identify your marbles, but it can be very hard do on a computer screen. Sometimes just feeling a marble in your hand can make a difference in identifying a marble and as a new collector it is frustrating to learn these subtle details. I remember my first marble show. I was so excited talking to the dealers they were so helpful and there were so many things to see, you should go. But don't forget your friends here☺️
  2. You know if you'd like to learn and talk about marbles you should try going to a marble show. You will learn alot about marbles and collecting at a marble show ☺️
  3. Hey Chad, that is one wet mint Cub Scout with all its' ribbons soooo hard to find. Thanks for posting 🦅
  4. Thanks Fire1981 and Akroorka for your comments. At first glance this marble appears to be a NLR Patriot but then you see those extra colors and peach, really unusual for Peltier, right? After looking at this marble again I do see some Vitro characteristics and it's less unusual for Vitro to have five or six colors. So, in the end we know not every marble can be positively identified, what's important is the discussion. I welcome more opinions ☺️
  5. Had this marble for at least 4 years. Many colors yellow, red, blue, gray, peach, white. Maker? Got a name, what do you think?☺️
  6. The reasoning for my Alley ID is the way these flames double back on themselves. On the other hand, I haven't seen this color combo before therefore my question. ☺️
  7. I hope these pics are better, I think I need a new camera 😄
  8. I've had this awhile and can't make up my mind who may have made it. What do you think? Thanks for looking 🍕
  9. All right, that makes sense. It will sit proudly in my Vitro collection. Thanks for looking☺️
  10. I've had this awhile and can't make up my mind who may have made it. What do you think? Thanks for looking ☺️
  11. I don't regret selling marbles in fact I enjoy it and will do it again soon. When I sold these I thought that if you had seen one Corkscrew you had seen them all but since then I have acquired a taste for them and collect them when I can. I sold each of these one at a time but I wouldn't do it again. 😄
  12. Great discussion everyone, thanks for looking. ☺️
  13. I looked up the Banana Swirl on Stephen Bahr's Vacor I.D. page and it doesn't look anything like the marble I've posted. And I don't think it would turn orange under a blacklight. But thank you for taking the time to look at my marble. ☺️
  14. This is a CAC Stripped Opaque, the yellow is orange under my blacklight. That last pic is pretty bad but a better view of how orange the color is. ☺️
  15. Well I'm back again, I got off my butt and took some pics with my blacklight. I don't know much about Vacor but I don't recall ever seeing a Vitro or a WVS react this way under blacklight. The glass itself is crystal clear with two tiny bubbles almost like Cambridge Glass if you know what I mean? Pretty sure it's a slag ☺️
  16. Allright, thanks for looking👍
  17. What do you think? Thanks for looking ☺️
  18. What do you think? The white areas are orange under a blacklight. Thanks for looking ☺️
  19. Have you checked it under a blacklight? ☺️
  20. Hello all, I'm just sitting around watching football and making tomato sauce with tomatoes from my garden. I hope you are all having fun too. Here are a few more mibs from my collection. ☺️
