got 2 boxes of these in the mail today.....10 cent, 50 count red boxes....full of Ravenswoods (and some nice ones!!)--i am assuming they are original to the boxes---they were pretty dusty! here's one of the boxes and the first group

wish i had more time to go to auctions, hopefully i will be able to this summer---so it's not me! there are quite a few marble "kooks" around this area though! lol i hit the flea markets now and then, but it's been pretty sparse--haven't been to any farther than Ozark--but i'd be happy to go check on those indians for you (just have to let me know where---LOL!!!) good luck on the bidding and i hope you win a bunch!! d

wow! thanks for the pics steph--looks to me like they did make the little ones--maybe we can call them Jr.'s (LOL)! here's the other 2--"borderline" one i have. first one is an opaque grey base 5/8'' second one is 3/4'' opaque white base

wow! would love to see them---i have a couple that are borderline (one is 3/4'' i think), but nothing that's spot on like this one....i'll see if i can dig mine out and get some pics. d

thanks again all! dustin, i hope you're talkin' about NLR's--i can't imagine a more futile effort than trying to get every color of rainbo (that would be like getting every color combo of corks...LOL)--just when you think you have them another pops up!! it's certainly a fun HUNT though!!! and the comics are all in super condition (i was pretty picky)--Andy has one small ding and is the only one missing ANY glass (not even bubble pops, if you can believe that!!)! d

david--the base is translucent (like the moss agate patches)--which is a little different--both my big ones are transparent based with quite a bit of the opaque white "filling" and i've seen the opaque based ones. and the colored patch does have the "ridges" just like the big ones--i think i may keep him around for awhile! lol d

thanks all---i'm a bit excited, i didn't really think i'd ever get there!! edna--i'm always on the lookout for the box, but from what i've seen i'll probably get the box about the time i get the "Master Loaf" and "Tom Mix" (which is right after i win the lottery!!! LOL) i think the best thing about this set is that (relatively) is was pretty inexpensive--the most i spent on any single marble was around $80 (the Kayo, of course--and i considered that a SUPER STUPENDOUS deal)---and i traded for a couple. it just took a little time and a LOT of patience (there was many an ebay auction i just wanted to say "SCREW IT" and put in $500 just to have the little sucker!! lol). d

well...is there anyone out there that will dispute that this is a MK "Berry Pink"? it's kind of a loaded question......colors and construction 100% dead on, BUT--measures just under 5/8''. ssssoooooooooo......if Berry Pinks are ONLY shooters (as i understand it), what would we call this little guy?
