  1. I have a pic of those halves too, I will post it later. You can definitely pick out some " exotics"
  2. next are the few I consider maybe exotic from my collection
  3. Clyde is on to something, If everyone posts a pic of their supposed exotics, I am sure some have to match. That may be a good test as to which ones may have come out of the same run. This first photo is CAC exotic halves from Bill Tow I believe. Second is a few pieces I found of cobras/exotic.
  4. Greg, I only have one that I would consider an exotic, and I got it in a trade that I had really nothing into. I will post pics of it and the two red/transparent blue/white ones I have that steph posted in the poll. The canton show was awesome, there were alot of dealers I have new met before. Romanoak has some absolutely stunning stuff. Absurdly gorgeous actually. There were a few dealers with alot of original cullet from ca. I dug through it and didn't find any exotics, but quite a few electric orange sub pieces were in there. I need to post those too. There were quite a few color combos that I had never seen before, which was nice to see in hand. I was allowed to buy a few pieces of these. C
  5. The one that is red/ blue- white is not exotic....I have found two of them. One all fractured from a digger:)
  6. Mon, I wasn't taking issue with you or anyone else. You are asking great questions, you guys were just getting off track. My point is that no one has given any answers and until they do everything is just hearsay. I am sure some lurkers here know at least some first hand info. There is nothing of note that hasn't already been said in previous posts and threads. I am asking them to stick their necks out, not you. Keep up the ?'s, maybe someone will break C
  7. This same topic comes up every year. I started a good thread on it last year and the same thing always happens. Bickering and posturing take the place of fact and teamwork. This thing can be figured out, I am just waiting for someone to give factual info. I have yet to hear anything but hearsay and whispers. If everyone would add what they know or have heard it can help sort out the crap. I don't have any info to add, so I have just been lurking. Otherwise, it is just going to be you three insulting each other, then explaining and then apologizing in a six page tirade of nothingness. Stick your neck out, Craig
  8. Well it was great to meet you, I really appreciate you bringing your collection to show off. It is nice to see those high end ones in hand to compare and study. You have some really rare birds. Craig
  9. Bill, Were you the one with the outrageous purple / sea foam flame? If so, your collection is outstanding! I have never seen so many mint killers, that span the gamut between companies. Sorry for all my pestering......sometimes the marble envy gets the best of you:) Craig
  10. There is something with a red base and little spots that I wouldn't mind taking off your hands:)
  11. Ray, your collection is way too nice to give up so easily. Hang in there buddy, at least you found that case you thought you lost!
  12. Oh man, that came from an estate right by my house. Look at the peach and electric orange, my heart is breaking! Craig
  13. Me, starting on Wednesday. Find me early for akros, I sell/ trade them cheap! Craig
  14. Looks like a hg American agate or the Japanese pinch pontil counterpart. The extra blue color is cool
  15. Thanks everyone, got most of the gunk of without any damage to the metal or scratching. It reader Fisher Master-Jewel Tray Pat. 2094529 DES99857. Anyone know what year that dates to?
  16. Great info everyone! Thanks for the help
  17. The back has some old stuck on felt with glue, I can see where it says Master but the pat is covered. Anyone know a good way to get this crap off without damaging the metal?
  18. The marbles in this are 7/8" and the total diameter is 5.5". I have seen it referred to as a "Master Tray" Anyone have any info? Anyone want it, let me know? Thanks Peeps, Craig
  19. I posted one like this about a month back and it got a consensus of vacor I believe.
  20. Sorry to hear that.....hope you keep a few for yourself, just as a reminder of your old love of the hobby. craig
  21. Craig, that is a great box with great examples. I can see those as primas. I have a few hand gathered ones like that, that don't quite look like they should be CA's. The glass on mine doesn't look ca either. But the last row does look like American agates. Craig
  22. This is all great info. Mike, can I see the marbles Gino had described here: I think they should be a hand gathered type. Gino Biffany told me once that he thought they were predominately red swirls with a translucent grey and white marbleized body. Thanks, Craig
