Thanks, both of you, The Greyish ones have the slight tint of blue which is stronger in some areas than others. They are much more translucent and show the opalescence better but I think there could be a number of reasons for it from different runs to the start of the blue running low. Everything is the same except the strength of the blue. I thought I had enough of them until I started finding the varying color strengths. The three up front seem to be a different marble, with a possible exception for the first one, maybe same but older. That one goes near clear backlit.

West Virginians and a few cousins up front. Not sure those have names.

Figured I would add a couple groups, Blue Sky and Blush line

I am thinking something other than sunset I guess.

No worries and thank you. For me it is out of the question. However if you see something in it, continue to question and research until you find the answer, I am wrong plenty. =}

Steph, yes apparently. When I first saw it I just knew it must be called a Tootsie Roll.......that was until I found out there was a Pelt with that name and this was not one of them. lol

I might add a few more Alley later and then switch makers. =}

Well Bud, I think your pics are actually really good. Having got the marble in hand today I had the same first reaction as when I saw when I viewed it here. First thought was I wanted it to be Alley. And it may be, the one thing that steers me elsewhere is the cutoff. The cutoff is sharp and dead straight across. Alley tends to be rounded and CAC tends to be dead straight. Here is my pic and you can see yours and mine are fairly close.

I agree with you Al. Does look like a slag.

I would say #4 is a WV swirl, likely Alley and #7 looks like it wants to be a cork but has some other stuff going on. Still can't get a good read on it.

I am seeing what Steph is, no on #4 and maybe on 7. Nice imperial cork on #3
