I needed something that would hold a lot of marbles but display them well. I had 10 jewelry flats with black felt inserts lying around so I headed to Lowe's and went shopping for wood, small nails and brass screws. Then I found a few brass figurines to add to the overall look. Got a garage door handle and wa-la ..... my new marble box all ready for my show in March. What do you think of it?

I have forgotten who it was that collects marbles a certain size and asked me if I made remelted jabos that size. From what I can remember, they wanted less than 1" but I can't remember. Can you help me remember who it is please - thanks. Rich

lol Griff... mother nature is blowing a windy gale here. Sever semi trucks blew over on the freeways. The wind gusts were up to over 60 mph! Currently this morning, it's 41F - very cold for here. By the way, the last 1/2 of June, all of July and 1/2 of August, my wife and I car driving from southern California all the way to Maine but we are making sure it's summer time! We'll be camping in a 7' by 7' tent too. In 2008, we went 5,318 miles on a similar camping trip. Went to Canada via the east side of the Rockies - during the simmer.

Geesh, it's FREEZING here at 73 degrees F. I had to put on my winter nylon light-weight jacket even.

Hey Chuck - I TOTALLY agree with you about "more understanding and breakdown of great beautiful piece of art work is my goal" and this is one reason I am starting to collect marbles. Another equally important reason to me is that I like the colors/designs in the marble. Having such knowledgeable people here, posting their stuff is important to me in my path of understanding - thanks all!!!!!
