  1. That sounds interesting.  I'm not familiar with those.

The "blacklight" bulbs that you can get from walmart don't work for me.  But I see that the flashlights are supposed to be able to light up doggie accidents ... so probably it'll light up your vaseline glass marbles.

My blacklight looks something like this, if this picture is coming through.

  2. What Mike said!

But seriously, I say "yes", color on the road.  A distinct road leading up to the tunnel.  However, this is not something I've spent a lot of time pondering.  It just made sense visually and I didn't think about it more.  I'm not expert on the range of variation allowed in this style. And I'm not sure if I even have one.   So I'll bow out now and welcome other opinions.

  3. You have a Vitro Helmet on the left, from the 1930's.  Not a rare marble, but a much loved one.

I think also a Vitro on the right.   If that's transparent inside, then it's sometimes called a Transparent Whitie, and it's a relative of the Tiger Eyes.  From the 1950's.

If solid white inside then just a regular Whitie, and I think from the 1960's.

What are the features of a Road and Tunnel?

ie, long single seam, huge loops off the seam, flow towards the loops, little loop action some where else...?

I don't think it needs more than this:

Though with the machine-mades I usually expect to see a flatter seam.

  5. So, I guess you want more than "WV Swirls" as the ID, eh?

The bottom right one is an Alley Agate.

The top one could be Alley or Ravenswood.

I think Alley on the left one.

The top right one ... well, I'm not sure that's a "swirl".  It might be a slag or something else.  More pix of that one might help.

  6. When I go to your gallery and see your image, it's sorta small ... so I look for the "other sizes" option.  Then I go to the largest version.

Then I right click on that one and "copy image address".

Then I paste the address into the post and it automatically turns into a picture.

I added a couple of pictures of ends but I don’t know how to post them here from gallery.

Looking kinda hard to see the end in one of the pictures, but I think I can make it out.  And it's pretty clear in this view, so I think you're right ... another Akro cork.
