I think you'd be going through a lot of risk to possibly end up with a bag that looks like a repro... Or, worse... As far as bags that I've seen go, this really isn't bad... If it means a lot to you to have a perfect and clean one, it may be easier and cheaper to search one out in that original condition.

Me Too!!! I took a stroll through the gallery and I was really excited!! When I voted, we had something like 97 votes!!! Going through the first 3 or 4 pages of the gallery, none had more than 2 or 3... THEN, I arranged the gallery by highest votes first.................... In 14 days, we gotta get a LOT more people to vote!!!!

I have one!!! But, I think mine is blue... I'd have to go diggin' to find it... I'm pretty sure it was empty when I got it, though.... HEY!!! Canned Heat!!! YES!!! The Blind Owl grew up in the next town over from me. Though, he died before I knew it... Big Bear Bob Hite was soooo cool!!! Why didn't they ever release a single by him??? (He's gone now, too...) Maybe they'd have been around longer....

We're getting very close to the rainfall that flooded our house on Mother's Day a few years back... But, they say it's gonna fall just a little short of those numbers... Sunshine tomorrow!!!! It can reflect off the lake that was once my back yard!!!

Absolutely!! Thanks so much for the rescue!!! When I do my Sunday night work at SARL (Salem Animal Rescue League) I have to get the kennel keys out of the "Kitty City" building... I usually try to smooze a little and see who's there for kitties... (I actually volunteered to work with cats, but they really needed someone with the big dogs...) It's just incredible how cool these cats are!! We've had several pure breeds come through... Usually, through owner illness, allergies, death, loss of animal friendly housing, etc... A few weeks ago, we had a fabulous looking blue eyed siamese come through, with the BIGGEST head I've ever seen on a cat!!! It had to be the size of a small cantalope!!! He had been picked up as a stray and looked to have been through some nasty experiences, but was adopted in a week... I'm sure things are lookin' up for him, now!!! :-)

Hey Barb, if you have time, still try to post your marbles... I'd love to have a chance to see 'em before all those SoCal collectors scoop 'em up!!! LOL

What a COOL marble!!! I'd sure go with contemporary, too... Is it possible to get some good clear shots of the pontils?? Also... Check it out under a black light... Some of the contemp artists are goofing with designs that look simple in regular light, but have a "surprise" under a blacklight...

One of the few very beautiful marbles that anyone can have in abundance... This is a great shooter size marble... But, it was also a lucky shot that turned out better than expected... Pssssst.... This may sound dumb... Cuz, I'm asking questions about stuff I don't know... I'm just wonderin' Is there any chance those amber-ish ones could be peach? And, that last picture... The opalescent marble... Isn't that an opal, or something?? Sorry for the sounding dumb thing... These are just areas I see, but don't pay a whole lot of attention to... And, if someone can come in and tell me why I'm wrong (which I suspect I am...) It may be a good educational thing... The bag is cool...

Thanks Sami!! (Add Steph to that too...) It is REALLY tough to allow things to be vented. Some people love it, some people hate it.... It seemed like either way we leaned, someone was unhappy... So... Moving these threads seems to work best... They are still there. They are still open for comments... And, it seems that they fare better at solving whatever issue is at hand, when the people who aren't interested in the thread aren't adding, "Why can't you people shut up and let this thing go?" types of comments... Soooo, I guess I better go over and find out what names I've been called since I last posted....

Wow!! That's crazy!! UPS ground should be REALLY cheap!!! I've been trying to get them to transport ebay stuff through their own system, so we could pick it up at the store, rather than having it shipped from Maine.... They don't seem to able to wrap their heads around that concept!!! LOL
