I bought this poly advertising bag a while back, and everything I've read about them has lead me to believe it's authentic... But with so many fakes, I'm still not positive. What do y'all think? Any idea what type of marbles these may be inside. I know its hard to see them clearly, the poly is pretty cloudy...

It looks new but I'm gonna go with its a polished oldie... I've bought from that seller before and most of his mibs are near mint and legit vintage!

Beautiful pelts.... Horrifying photo!!! HAHAHA Reminds me of my grandfather telling me of the hundreds of marbles that met their demise with the help of his slingshot as a child!

Right now I'm mainly into Marble King Rainbows and Pelts... I have a few of just about everything though, but these are my favorites!

This was the one the got me hooked... I was online hunting for Vaseline glass to add to my collection and this beautiful marble came up during the search. After admiring the beautiful colors and amazing pattern, I added it to my favorites... I knew nothing about marbles, but just found this one too pretty to ignore. After a couple days, I finally decided to buy it. However, I was very hesitant to pay $15 for one marble. LOL... Today I know that was an EXCELLENT find, and by far it is one of my favorites!

Hi everyone. My name is Andy, and I reside near Amarillo, Texas. I am quite possibly the newest member and greenest collector on here! I am 27 years old and began collecting depression, vaseline, and victorian glass pieces a few years ago.... That is up until about October or 2012, when I came across a beautiful little Joseph's Coat Handmade swirl.... I purchased the little beauty and was instantly hooked on marbles! I've kind of put all other collecting aside as I have become obsessed with these little works of art! I have a decent collection of handmades from clambroths to micas, and gooseberries to latticinos... But within the past few months I've dived head first into machine mades... I love them... Though I have LOTS to learn, I would like to say, this site has been so extremely helpful with my new hobby/love... I have learned so much from all of the seasoned collectors!

It is darker. I wasn't sure about the PPP's, I know some people on the bay give them nicknames... but you know how that goes I'm sure. Sorry. I've only been collecting for about a year now so I'm still trying to soak up as much info as possible?

Just wondering if any of these Pelts have common names or if they may be hard to find colors...

I purchased this slag a while back, was wanting a second opinion or three as to whether or not this is a Leighton. It is slightly over 3/4" and has a ground pontil.
