  1. I don't think I'm quite ready to part with this beauty just yet!
  2. Thank you aleecee, I've just started collecting "ade" marbles, and had never even heard of a blueberryade until today. It's very nice in hand!
  3. Ok, Here are a few more pictures... hope this helps!
  4. I'll try to get more pics uploaded ASAP... I'm on the road today so it may be a little while
  5. Doesn't belong to sdmad anymore! I was the one who bought that pelt! Lol
  6. How about a little Bach: Cello Suite No.1 Prelude? Although this version is a little different, performed by Steven Sharp Nelson, one of the members of the group, The Piano Guys. If you've never heard of them before, I urge you to check out some of their other videos! Super talented musicians, although they may be somewhat quirky 😊! Hope you enjoy!
  7. I just received one of my most recent purchases today... This is what I believe to be Akro, it is just over 5/8", and is on a moss agate base. Blue and pale green swirls that are UV reactive. Has anyone seen similar colors before?
  8. Yes, if its a color other than white or black, and somewhat translucent they are usually called mellons and are worth more. Usually pinks, blues, and greens.
  9. I believe they can have either one or two pontils.... At least in the information I have read about them.
  10. My first thought was the early game/ballot box white opaques.... Not 100% positive though...Now I'll just wait and see what others say.....
  11. I have one of these as well... The seller I bought it from referred to it as a chocolate cow, though he said he has heard them called burnt zebras as well... I really don't know if he made the names up or not, but regardless of name, it's still a good looking mib!
  12. If you ever decide you don't want those Andrea..... I'd be happy to take them off your hands! 😁
  13. The second is another odd one, please bear with my awful pics! I couldn't get them to come out right! This one is a clear handmade with mica/blizzard ( hard to see in pics, kinda looks like bubble or dings), but what makes this unusual to me is the single greenish brown line that runs perfectly through the core. Also, it's hard to tell, but the large entrapped bubble within the marble is outlined with a reddish color. If I can get better pics of these I will definitely post!
  14. I have a couple here that I'll post... don't know if I would call them "rare", but I do consider them unusual. The first is this solid core. It has an alternating aqua, dark blue, and white core, with very thin white swirls...
  15. It was on the 24th.... Bright yellow, blue, and black. The seller assured me no hassel return if I'm not satisfied... He was very familiar with poly clay and said its not... But I'm sure he doesn't realize how many polys my kids have made... I'll be able to tell by feel I'm sure once I receive it. They usually are slightly "warm" to the touch.
  16. So I recently purchased a "gutta percha" on the bay... I've never owned one, or seen one in hand. I've read a lot of past articles on here about them and have learned quite a bit... Though I haven't received it yet, I'm worried mine may actually be a poly clay marble. It's just too bright, and doesn't seem to be "hand painted". I should've done more research before purchasing, I know, but I have learned a lot from this! So, let me get to the point... How can I tell if it is a percha or a poly without sawing them in half like zaboo??? Lol
  17. My kids love marbles almost as much as their daddy does! Especially my 3 year old son. I have been buying them packages of poly clay from the craft store and let them bake their own little marbles... It's a blast!
  18. Wonderful! I didn't pay an arm and a leg for it... But I was still concerned. Do you know if this particular bag is fairly common?
