  1. Thanks Dave! Looks like its Bulgarian then.... Just as everyone suspected. Thanks all for the help!
  2. I've been experimenting with photoshop and my camera trying to get better photos, so here's a better view of this marble...
  3. Here are a few of mine... Rare? I doubt it, but definitely different.
  4. Kbobam! I was just thinking about your beautiful mib pics this morning and how I've missed seeing them on here!
  5. I bought this Jabo when I first started collecting. It's the only one I've came across that is as close to a cork as I've seen with Jabo's.... It's not a cork from pole to pole but it's still an eye catcher!
  6. Really cool! Know anywhere I can still get them at that price?? Lol
  7. I should feel smarter after viewing this, but oddly........... Can I get those past couple minutes of my life back??? Lol
  8. Found this video on YouTube. It's an instructional video on "cooking" marbles, (you may wish to turn volume off due to the language)
  9. HUGE difference in the seams! Color is very similar but I can totally see it now. Thank you Steph! I can always count on you!
  10. It most certainly was me. It was listed before I asked. I had yet to remove the listing. I do my best to describe them as accurate as possible. If anyone ever tells me otherwise I always edit the listing.
  11. Thanks everyone for the help! Glad I got these so cheap! I guess the price should've given the origin away!
  12. Any ideas on a maker for these? I picked up this colorful little handful today. I was thinking possibly vitro, but alas, once again I'm stumped!
  13. I recently came across a 2"+ flint hand faceted marble at a yard sale. It was marked $3.00, so i purchased it... I was just wondering if this is an unusual size or marble for that matter? What non-glass marbles are considered rare?
  14. I've bought a few of these, my kids love them!
  15. Here are a few of the Pelts ( at least I believe most are Peltier) I have accumulated recently. Just wondering if anyone can tell me if I have any that are of any value? Most seem fairly common, but some of them looked like unusual colored rainbows to me. If I need to take a closer pick of any, just tell me what photo/row/number. Thanks in advance for ANY input!
  16. The color of the orangish red matches the imperial closest. I agree, it doesn't really look like a carnelian now that I've compared the base glass. I purchased it as a "buy it now" for $25, thinking it was an orangeade oxblood... Here is a link to the ended auction. The seller's pics may be more revealing than mine with an iPhone! http://bit.ly/1h4rLNa
  17. 3/4" and near mint with only two small pin pricks
  18. Can anyone tell me about what these may go for? I'm not looking to sell it, just wondering if I may have overpayed.... As a fairly new collector I am still trying to learn values
  19. Chocolate fits this much better than oxblood. It doesn't have the distinct akro ox color.... More like it was smeared with Hershey's chocolate syrup! Lol
