Didn’t other factory workers try to work for Akro and try to steal the Oxblood formula ? I can’t remember his name at Akro that created this formula but I thinks it’s J.C. Fields.

There is a technique that was used to make hand faceted agates. They would lay face down on a table that was similar to a massage table with an opening for their face. There was a grinding wheel below them that they could roll the agates on.The grinding wheel was about a foot below their face. The table was tilted up where their heads would rest. This was done so the blood didn’t rush to their heads.

Augers have been harder for me to find. I don’t know about anyone else. I have one with a tight red spiral in the matrix. I have another one where the spiral ribbons open up and the edges end at the base base glass.
