  1. Ok Akroorka so no AV? What is it I’m seeing with the green here? There’s an obvious divide or difference in glass density with the Green and Clear glass. I’ve gone pretty deep with this one pulling out several boxes of Rainbo Peltiers for comparison and I can’t find any that have this effect in the base glass. But I do see this in Christensen and in Master Marble glass when I look at how their colors never really blend but form different strata. As for Marble King I can’t find anything in my collection with a seam that’s even close to this. MK are much longer and mostly straight compared to this ones. But couldve an outlier and not to get under Ron’s skin but it could be an “experimental”. then looking at pic 6 I have several Akros with similar patterned Tongue Patches
  2. Found this nice Shooter (0.80” inches diameter) in my Peltier Slag marbles box. The colors are very close (see last pic)After looking at this for some time I believe it’s construction lends to a Peltier Rainbo maybe a Frosted Pine Needle. Marble has lots of AV,,,,…? what do the Pros here think? Thanks y’all
  3. Hey Ron, I enjoyed the Ravenswood Video You have a great collection of Ravenswood Here’s a few more pics of marble 3. thanks for y’all input
  4. Here’s three swirls I need the local experts to help me with. First one is nice although it’s largely unimpressive. But I’m trying to catalogue the pattern for future reference. The second one has me concerned it may be Jabo due to the “J” pattern seen in the first of its pictures again I see this pattern a lot and want to get it right when sorting. Last marble has Peltier vibes mainly due to the higher end intricacies of its construction. Certainly has me thinking Peltier Miller Swirl? I really appreciate your time and sharing of accurate knowledge. The information you share helps in the fight against misinformation which I think hurts the integrity of this wonderful craft. The same misinformation diminishes the creative efforts of those who were part of the ground floor manufacturing processes. Accuracy in ID goes a long way to put the credit where it’s due. For this I thank those who’ve been so kind and willing to share their wealth of knowledge. Knowing more helps everyone get the most out of the joy of Marbles!
  5. I think this one is Ravenswood but I’m unsure. Thanks for your input.
  6. Great Marble Measures 0.69” Inches In Diameter. Any Info On This One Is Appreciated Thank You
  7. Thanks Ron. Do you know if there’s somewhere I could find pictures of the first joker run for comparison ?
  8. I’ve seen some Alleys that resemble this maybe it’s the big ole butt crack in pic 4 that’s throwing me off?
  9. We’ll I always go off Cutline and colors. In picture 2 the cut has a curve to it as if it’s following the marbles contour. This is Alley construction. A CAC cutline is more straight usually with a road and tunnel and CAC colors are rich with barely any bleeding or dips in hue. Pics 2 & 3 compare the blue base to the 2 blue base CAC I pictured.
  10. Ok this one was riding in the Jabo box. But it doesn’t really fit the part. Measures 0.67” inches in diameter. Is this one an Alley Agate or is it a Jabo? Thanks for your input.
  11. I took a couple close ups I think it’s AV throughout the base glass what do y’all think?
  12. The ribbons are different in length and width Leigh’s are high towards the pole and fatter. Steph’s pics show thinner ribbons that are lower towards the equator. So is this a trait of Kokomo?
  13. Has the same top ribbon pattern where White meets White that clear based single color Pelts have here’s a pic from the Peltier site.
  14. I think the transparent is the base I can see lots of AV within it. here’s a few pics that may give you a little better idea which is what.?
  15. I think this one is a Pelt but what type is it? Rainbo? NLR? It has a construct I see in some Multicolored Pelts. Sorta looks like Polar Bear Colors? Any help here is appreciated thanks
  16. 4-Color Yellow Base Transparent Corkscrew with Oxblood
  17. I believe this marble to be a CAC Machine Made single seam slag. I’m in need of color opinions, Purple or Lavender? I’ve included a side by side of another CAC I Have that is purple for comparison. I’m asking this to be sure if the Marbles color because CAC Lavender is hard to locate this would be one of my only ones. Thanks for your time and input.
  18. So Ric, I think you’re correct here this Tiger Eye Marble falls short of an Easter Egg due to the Purple being dark VS the lighter pastel purple found in a Easter Egg. I think I remember that all the colors need to be Pastel. Translucency? Does this play any part in the Battle between a Tiger Eye or Easter Egg?
  19. Hey Ric, why is this a Tiger Eye? Every ID Site I’ve ever visited calls this an Easter Egg. Link https://westvirginiamarblecollectorsclub.com/identification/?cat=11&pg=1 Pic
