  1. A dark stormy winters day in the woods !!!
  2. Very nice Roby, I collect metalics also, a great bunch of marbles man, some of those I've never seen anything like them, thanks for sharing the pics !!!
  3. The clear white pelt slags are very very rare, I believe yours to be just another type of "swirl" not peltiers. Non feather white pelts slags are very hard to I.D. Chuck G. is much more versed than I am on them, maybe mess him or wait for someone else to chime in. Chad G.
  4. Here's an opaque Alley Bonnie, several companies made corals, the transparent like you have where identified as CAC until they discovered them at the St. Mary's Alley location. I find all corals very beautiful mibs, especially the clear base like yours !!
  5. yellow and white Alley, red and blue flame "nice" CAC, purple and white 9 slag MFC judging from the 1 pic, the green and yellow swirl I would say CAC but their swirls were generally straight opaque, no clear swirls in the mib. the clear swirls making me have some doubts, the orange and white swirl I'm out on.
  6. I see a angel fish in a coral reef in this one !! ( I just had to do it, hope you all get a chuckle out of it )
  7. I see a duck, no beak but when I see it I think duck !!
  8. A definite pelt. thanks for the pics, a good keeper, "uncommon" I personally like the rooster tail pattern even compared to the busier patterns. A few of the ones I have now. just started on them after selling my collection in 09, then all my pelt slags where rooster tails, I'll post some old pics as well. Some from my old collection !! The rooster tail pattern I love, there are much better examples but as you all know a matter of perspective and personal choice. This one w/ this pattern also vhtf, from my 09 auction, a uv. onyx w/ what I call a banded pattern. I haven't seen one w/ this pattern and in wet condition like this since.
  9. I was just about to ask you about av. before I seen your comment Bill, this color combo, at least every time I've seen has av. in it, not a common Alley at all, nice mibs man !!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the pics Bill, again, great marbles
  10. Wow Roby !! you must have hit the furnace honey hole ?? very nice marbles, thanks for posting the pics !! I don't think I've ever seen one like the last, purple w/ yellow striations running through it, not a very common combo for a furnace mib !!!
  11. The great hobby of marble collecting has been gifted me for just a little over half my life. So many good friends, people I've never met but share a common interest with. Like minded individuals w/ no interest but to be further educated in this endeavor. Collecting, sharing, many things far and beyond just adding another mib to the collection. When the glass takes the place of my friends it's time to quit and sell them. I love to collect but treasure the friends I've made while collecting. I felt I needed to share this as encouragement to any new collectors, that such a simple thing has brought to me far more than I ever could have dreamed. Thank you all my marble friends !! Chad G.
  12. Please do, I'm getting some next month, I never tire of them either a very beautiful marble indeed. Thanks Roby !! Chad
  13. Man Roby !! you have some killer Furnace mibs, all great keepers.
  14. Keep em rollin Chuck !!! great pics. Chad G.
  15. Yes the first 2 are "Vacor Bengal Tiger's" the bottom one's have me @ a loss also right now, I'll give it a few, maybe my brain will kick back into gear.
  16. I found the one provided here @ this forum the easiest way, just giving you an alternative, it is a little more complicated though. Chad G.
  17. The Alley Spruce I believe to be a very under rated mib, one of my first Alley's and if I seen another mint one I would buy it, and on and on, One of my very favorite marbles, a lot of good memories. Chad G.
  18. I just got some so I guess I can change this later, here they is.
  19. I looked here trying to find a Vacor or Mega that even come's close https://www.billes-en-tete.com/liste_billes.php?lang=en here and every where else I could for a Vacor look alike, couldn't find one. Chad G.
  20. Got em, my own pics will be posted soon !!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Just watched the Heaton dig video tonight, talk about a dream come true. I've found 1 or 2 marbles before, never like that, marble digging on steroids. You are a lucky man indeed, part of marble history, soon there will be nowhere to dig except old dumps. They made it illegal to dig or be on the old city dump property here because 1 or 2 people fell through and where hurt, that was years ago, couple of bottle diggers if I remember right. Old homesteads and outhouse sites are the only thing left if you can find them, and if the property owners will let you dig. Thank you for sharing your experience Stephen. What a thing to be there. Chad G.
  22. I used my people app. on outlook windows 10 to do this Bonnie, maybe you can do it from there if you have the app.. I copied your pic. put it into a folder, went to people, added a person, hit edit, hit add pic, cropped, clicked on save, complete, maybe you can snip, copy and crop from the one I did, or use the app. here on the forum with this one ???? " hope this helps you" I'll leave a couple of your flames here so you can give it a whirl, "Good luck" !!!
