    "Welcome to Marble Connection" Bennington, fired and glazed clay marble, probably came from Mexico, yes it is old. Others will chime in W more info, I believe yours is called a fancy Bennington because of the mottled coloration.

    Try a 5000 K daylight bulb, low wattage 15 if you can find it but 20w is ok, macro setting if you have it, the av should show then, try a neutral background, I found grey felt most effective, so the camera focusers on the marble not the background. A little tweaking and you'll have it perfected

    Peltier NLR Zebra, av. or not, some zebras contain none, like some john deere do. These 2 shots gave the I.D. away.

    Yes, there has been a debate for some time, Amsterdam, Japan, etc. there was probably a myriad of companies producing very similar marbles. Packaging, yes the debate will go on until some more definitive paperwork (providence) comes along. More and more is being exposed all the time.

    These handmades Art, pictured on Pg. one and labeled "cat eyes" when we can all see they are handmade, me thinks there's a misprint or something going on. The only cats pictured on the page are on the bottom row. 99% of the entire page looks whacked & mis I.D'd to me !!

    They are all Veiligglas, I got them all from @Mojo in the Netherlands the three front ones just have an outstanding design, rarely you will come upon a Veli W 3 different colored ribbons in the matrix, I believe @Nantucketdink has a few examples.
