  1. A common practice used on the old Topps borders as the machines didn't cut the sheets "perfectly" back in the day.
  2. I'm still "new" for the most part too marble collecting, having only been at for about a year and a half, so sadly, I never had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with Alan. That website however is one of my "go to" reference listings hands down so yes, a big thank you for keeping it going ๐Ÿ‘
  3. Thanks Chad! I forgot about that link being here...I usually access it on phones homepage. Glad you stepped in because I didn't supply the link correctly anyway ๐Ÿ˜
  4. It's SAD that people can still manipulate a sales platform and get away with crap like this. Hopefully consumers who haven't fallen into these traps educate themselves about future potential purchases before purchasing ๐Ÿ‘
  5. Sometimes it wants to feel like a medieval torture device when lock those grey clamps down. There isn't any pain per say, but it's pretty damn tight! There isn't any getting out of it until they let you out. It messed with me psychologically the first couple days. After that, you pretty much make yourself focus on the music they play of your choice and try not to swallow. They start off by taking a fresh xray, about a 3 minute cycle. After that, it's the radiation. Each cycle (I get 3), lasts about a minute and a half, and there's about 2 minutes in between each one. I'm going to bed. Pooped. I decided to mow the front and middle yards after I got home, plus did some planting with Patty. Sleepy time ๐Ÿ˜ด
  6. My "companion" for my treatments...
  7. Check out some of the images at Joe's website of the Spiderman variations and you'll see why Chad says "unusual"....definitely a cool marble ๐Ÿ‘
  8. Yay, Happy Friday! Not counting today, I have 18 more treatments left. So far, the only side effects that I have noticed is a rash across my shoulders and at the top of my armpits. I told them in theory that I think the mask is behind this (it actually covers my shoulders also, imagine the villain Juggernaut's helmet if it were a few inches longer). After I examined it more closely on Wednesday, I think it is made from a liquid resin similar to what we use in the molding process while making softball bats. We injected the liquid resin, hot, with a gun by screwing the guns tip into the press the bats were in. This coated the composite material and kevlar. In liquid and solid form, some people had allergic reactions to this resin. These mesh sheets are premade for Gundersen Hospital. At the hospital, they get them really hot to soften them up so they can "mold" it by hand against your face, head, and shoulder areas. If I'm correct, I hope I gave the assist in treating or approaching others before or during their treatments ๐Ÿ˜Š I'll see if I can snap a picture of mine today after I'm done ๐Ÿ‘
  9. Colors look Vitro ๐Ÿ˜‰
  10. I agree with Chad...could be a whacked Blended Spiderman or maybe a vari colored Rainbow....quite the striking MK, really like it, Gladys ๐Ÿ‘
  11. It could have a shot being Citrus related, either that or a nice Rainbo...absolutely love the second mib! Looking forward to other opinions ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘
  12. My very first Bennington from when I first started collecting ๐Ÿ˜Š
  13. Chicken livers takes me back to when I was a young man in Jacksonville, Florida working for a small privately owned chain of restaurants called Jimmy's Buttermilk Chicken. My favorite side dish was deep fried livers and gizzards. And they used peanut oil in their deep fryers. That combination with a big bowl of creamed peas! YUMMMMMMY!!
  14. Oh, now I see what appears too be some Slags here and there and some Rainbos....
  15. I see a mess of corks, maybe a few popeye's, clearies, swirls....kinda hard to make some of them out but thus far that's all I can gather...
  16. I have always liked it. Best recipe ever was when they used to make everything from scratch down at the local nursing home. My wife and I worked there, myself 8 years and she for 25. This is back in the 90's before they started getting away from homemade (which is sad). Fortunately, we got our hands on the recipe (which I still have), but it's been quite a few years since I've had it myself. With my current condition, I'm not sure what it would taste like, since my taste buds have been so drastically "altered" due to surgery and radiation. But yeah, I'm definitely on board with a big, fat, YUMMY ๐Ÿ˜›
  17. I sure like the "chocolate" base with the "vanilla" swirl....jeez it's a hot day and that description just made me think of the "Whippy Dip", an ice cream stand in Decorah,Iowa that serves nothing but soft serve homemade ice cream. I think I'm there ๐Ÿ˜›
