Funday Friday's mixed cherrypick score...came across a jar of mostly cats eyes with these. Happy with Friday since I struck out Saturday 😊 -

Opinions? Thanks. I took a few pics of some individual marbles that stood apart from the rest of the group, 17 of them total. Below are 8 of them. Interesting I thought.

Another interest I was collecting was ocean and fishing related items, especially when I got the green light too convert our smaller bathroom. Spent probably a year picking all this stuff and it was fun putting it up!
-
Yesterday's scores, mostly hers...2 more of those lacquered figures (2 tallest ones), large amethyst horse, hand carved bear chief statue, Vintage cigarette box, and a slew of vintage lures, a couple of Occupied Japan fishing kits still in the original packaging, I staked a claim to the hand carved samurai but he won't be resided in my displays. It was her day too shine since I owned Funday Friday with my scores 😊

Since we are on the fishing subject, part of my significant others score yesterday was this. Never opened from the original packaging, she got a pair of them. Incredibly tiny hook! Anything Occupied Japan is cool too find since the manufacturing period was only a handful of years, especially the stuff you don't see very often. Goes right into her Vintage lure collection (I'll share pics of her tackle boxes sometime 😊)

All my Akroware and Slag glass thus far, mixed in with the Imperial pieces and animal agate and onyx pieces. Once I move them into the cherrywood curio I will have them separated. Haven't bought a thing online and probably won't for some time. Enjoy the thrill of the hunt way too much! Not a bad start for a couple of months of picking 😊

Very nice grab...I'm following a lead tomorrow on some more pieces...wow that's quite the deal, fantastic one-two punch there Chad!

We hit Cresco (Tin Ceiling Antiques), Calmar (Whistlestop Antiques)and Decorah (The Depot) in Iowa today, a 4 hour jaunt where she scored and I struck out as far as adding to the glass masses but did grab a couple things...Hoping too get some hits tommorow then maybe some fishing for crappie, bluegill and northern 😊 See about posting some pics tomorrow 👍

That's a nice one 👍

Wow, I got dizzy after the first few swipes 🥴
-
Where I scored yesterday, she scored today with 2 vintage, intact fishing kits made in occupied Japan, 2 of those lacquered figures (paper people she calls them 😊), 3 bone china miniature dogs and a sizable amethyst horse (which I helped her with $$). Least I could do for the sake of showcase space 😁
-
Yep, she has a whole room upstairs called her "fun room" for all her collectibles 😊
-
I do believe that's it. Got a bunch in the basement.
-
Patricia (my other half 😊), told me today she is going to move her teacup sets which will free up a 6 shelf corner curio with built in lights. That will help for a little while.

Like everyone says, they are tougher too find out there! I like the antique malls, as the vendors restock regularly. Doesn't hurt to get too know the owners and some of the vendors as alot of them attend estate sales too restock. I kinda put a bug in their ears and sometimes the results are good 😊 -

Nice! That's what we did today, hit a 3 level antique mall. I actually cherry picked a handful too, also for a buck or 2 apiece, along with some Akroware and a nice slag glass owl. Good looking group there! -
Funday Friday it was...scored some Akroware, a slag owl, a few mibs and another animal for my collection...after which we enjoyed some Authentic Mexican food...
-
Comments well deserved! Like "The Rifleman", you shoot straight 😊

I like the pink and the bluish/white tumblers. Haven't seen those colors before. The pitcher is a little bigger than my other one. Also love the green saucer with its swirls.
-
Ha, you got that right!
