  1. I just read that it could be the coldest Christmas in 40 years for some midwest areas! My phone weather bug is saying this for highs Tuesday through Saturday...12,12,2,0,2....then -5 to -10 at night. Factor in the wind chill they are talking about later this week and it's frostbite in minutes. I know I'm going to be picking up everything we need between now and Thursday because it's not going to be nice out there!
  2. I'm thinking that this is going to be the first actual white Christmas in quite some time in my neck of the woods. I mean actually having good snow coverage on the ground. We still have at least 4 inches or more sitting on the ground from that last system not to many days ago. Now they just issued a Winter Storm Watch for my area that begins Wednesday and goes through Friday. They are calling it a significant event, currently forecasting 4-6 more inches of snow. Plus throw in some windy conditions of up to 55 mph, along with subzero temperatures moving in with it. Not only is Christmas going to be white, but cold as you know what. We have been spoiled in that aspect also in recent years with crazy warm temperatures in December. Not this time. Merry Christmas indeed 🥶
  3. Foreign...that's an interesting observation also, Ric. I'm really starting to like this marble 😊
  4. Better images and Art might be on to something...I sure was thinking Master after I distanced myself from that Vitro thought. I just might be hopping on that Akro 🚂

    Masters?

Oh yeah Vitro all the way
  6. Ron Shepherd told me one day that I could study 7 days a week, so many hours a day, and still many years later be fortunate enough to identify maybe 60%-70% of what you see. Or something along those lines anyway. Keep at it! We are all learning every day. Whether we are new to the game or 30 year veterans! 👍
  7. When I moved to Minnesota from Florida, that's where I lived from 93' until 01', that's when I bought my home in Mabel. Yes, love Spring Grove...I'm always dropping through there!
  8. Indeed! Definitely an oddball keeper 👍
  9. That's what kinda grabbed me too, brother! Then I started seeing Vitro veins. We'll see, but I think I would go Master first myself after looking again a couple times...
  10. I almost said Master...Maybe a Vitro? A few more views could tell more. More opinions for sure 👍

    Masters?

Cool...I'm at work now myself 😊

    Masters?

Right there with Ric...those 2 do have what appears to be Vitro characteristics but a few more looks would seal the deal 😊
  13. That's what I use with most things I dig up 👍
  14. Nice Rainbos indeed...I do like the one that Ric pointed out..I've only got 1 👍😊
  15. Marble King and I believe a Jabo...
  16. This particular marble, I keep in a special place. Definitely my "Big Brother's Marble"...
  17. They do produce some atattractive mibs..
  18. Just what I was thinking Art...I just wasn't too sure on that red one at the top. More images on that one would be great. I still think the green one in between the red ones is some form of WVS. The middle green one and the top right marble at 2o'clock are possible Veligglass IMO. WVS identification can be such fun 😐...
  19. The red one looks Slag too me, maybe Akro. The green one is a Veligglass possibility...more opinions will be forthcoming 😊👍
  20. A couple of Slags, but mostly WVS IMO....might be a couple of Veligglass, little tough to tell without more images individually...the two I like are dead Center next to each other 😊
  21. I think I'll stick with Jabo 😊
