  1. There's some that aren't online that I found in the Lacrosse area. Not sure if they are still around or not. They were pretty small but had good stuff. Let's see some of your scores from downtown!!!
  2. The one on Caledonia Street...did you park across the street and get your picture with those wings that are painted on the wall? We did lol
  3. Which one?? There's a few...
  4. Your so welcome...oh yeah, beware of Whistlestop Antiques in Calmar Iowa. It's been closed for a long time. Online for some weird reason it appears to be open (last time I checked anyway). I never could get an answer when I called.
  5. There's also a post referencing reputable sellers on Ebay in the Marble and Glass chat if you want to check them out...
  6. The one in Cresco is not very big...I've been there a few times and the only mibs I saw were modern Asian cat's eyes. I did walk away with a few slag pieces but I don't think they put much into restocking their goods. Harmony is kinda up and down. Sometimes I walk away empty handed, other times I scored multiple times in a single visit. Vendors usually come in the first week of each month too collect their money from sales. This is usually when they add new inventory. Some live a good distance away and they usually kill 2 birds with one stone doing it this way. Had a thought..ever try Crazy Frank's? I see it advertised alot on TV and I think it's within distance of you. Never been there myself, but it's a sizable place from what I have seen and heard 😊
  7. Nice looking gamers there, Al!
  8. Marsden is the last name if you ever need to look her up too see when she's in her shop. With her prices, I'm sure you will be back one day. Deb's Corner is the business name I believe...
  9. Your kidding me!! Wow. Yes, I have lived here in Mabel since 2001..the midwest itself since 1993...you must mean the shop next to the post office. She's not open very often, but yes she's got some nice pieces in there. Maybe I'll meet ya one of these days!
  10. Some Game marbles do appear swirly...
  11. I like the color combination on your Rainbo 👍
  12. Didn't go too crazy this year with outdoor decorations....fun stuff 😊
  13. Our first real measurable snowfall, at least IMO...began around 3am and supposed to clear out around lunchtime or so. Might get a glazing of ice on top of it afterwards, but I hope not because this snow is the wet, heavy variety. Looking like we'll get between 4-6 inches. I'll get too test my breathing and stamina shoveling today! I can already hear it sliding off my steel roof, sounds like rumbling thunder hitting the ground...and that always means that I'll have a pile too shovel off the eastern side of the house on my sidewalk.. 20221209_074259.mp4
  14. Went back to work part time, just finished my 2nd week! Plans are still set for Miken Sports too close their doors and transfer production over to China, where they are already producing Easton bats. Estimated time of closing is between April and June. Little by little, I thought that I would share some pics of my daily haunts since 2006. This is Surface Prep, the department that I ran for over 10 years...first pic is the handle gluing robot...second pic, the CNC...third pic, 1 of 6 sanding lathes...4th pic, silicone barrels waiting to be loaded into the robot...5th pic, the barrel saw...6th pic, another shot of one of two sanding robots....and the last pic, a look at the department. Man, I have pushed many thousands of bats through this room over the years...gonna miss it!
  15. I'm glad I don't live next to a taco bell...we would run up one heck of a Bill 😐
  16. We spray ours a couple times a year. Patty has had her first beehive for probably 8 years now, if not more. And she credits this longevity too Aquanet! Air tends too get pretty dry indoors and over time I'm sure these nests would fall apart. There's alot of honeycombs inside these things! I've seen a nest deteriorate from the bottom up and eventually the interior starts falling out of the hole in the bottom. Hives are tough to come by too! It's always first come first serve when one is found in the city limits. Chances are better in the wild but they sure are tough to find in the woods!
  17. We use a extra strong hold hair spray on ours too preserve them. Otherwise over time they are prone to falling apart.
  18. The town of Spring Grove, about 7 miles east of me. Every year they dress up the little park in the center of town
