Sorry, a day late! Nice assortment once again..it sure was nice to find something other than game marbles! Too bad that big slag is missing chunks, but the sizable Pelt Rainbo is in nice shape. A few of the white ones appear opaque and the red ones might deserve another look. Also hit the motherlode with agates, quartz and other nice rocks buried in a pile next to one of the buildings. There's one as big as a watermelon which will be a joy to carry for about 400 feet..a good day 👍

Get around too it soon!

It's a Master for sure. The other side has the white brushed patch. The spot that's giving that pontil appearance is just a reflection. The sun was breaking around the edges pretty strong and it took a few shots too get a good one. When I get a chance, I'll post it too the "Master's" thread...

I believe it's a Master...

Haven't taken the time to look alot of stuff up yet as far as time frame and identification...

Another nice little haul today, though not as big as the previous loads. Post some pics tommorow!

More pics (hopefully better ones), of the building remains we discovered not too many days ago. Also a picture of the small collapsed building that is the first one you see once back in the woods...

Yep, someone will buy it for the reasons I just told Art....😊

You should check out the jars I just dug up last week in Northern Iowa...(Lounge, Iowa Dig thread)

Kinda stands out, doesn't he? Like I told Chad, what's in there too warrant paying $200? The answer would be, a load of fun and childhood memories for someone who wouldn't think twice about buying it.

I'd rather have that sharp stick in the eye than come up light on my Franklin's....makes me wonder though, what's in there that would warrant this vendor too slap a tag like that on this jar?
-
That could be...having 3 colors kinda took me away from that thought though. As I stated, it's really tough to see the true colors through 2 separate layers of glass (the display and the jar), and the dim lighting didn't help.

Out treasure hunting and saw this lone marble in a jar full of various kinds of stuff. Wondering about the ID. Green and yellow separated by that orangey-peach ribbon. Akro? Maybe an old Vitro...like I said, just a curiosity, and that's alot of money for a random jar with random stuff! Sorry, best shots I could get...

Marble Vacation In West Virginia

What fun thread...thanks for "reposting", PM 👍 -

Considering the amount of trees and branches that lay throughout this wooded area, indeed! Seems like every other step is taken stepping over branches and fallen trees... There's a few spots where we have too pass going from one area too another where there is dead wood looking for an "excuse" too fall 😬 It's pretty eerie hearing all those trees and limbs creaking and rubbing when a little breeze blows through!

The "Score!" thread. Post your exciting finds here...

Looks like a nice little mix 😊 -
Definitely not treasure hunting out in those old woods today...the winds are crazy today! The occasional creaking and popping from this old house of mine is telling me these are some pretty good gusts. Last thing I'm going to be doing is running for my life from falling branches and old trees!
