  1. I agree it is a very good example of a Heaton Oxblood. I would start at $30 on the Ebay and wait for the bidding to go to the end--this is a very-very nice one! The rest--uck--put them in a group and list them at $10 or best offer. Marble--On!!
  2. I better go through my near mints again---- Marble--On!! Good job !
  3. I have not posted this one in a bit. It was missing for a few weeks--my wife found it in the washing machine--at least it is clean😁 I was 7/8"🙃. Marble--On!!
  4. All Pelt attributes for sure--I hope that it comes home and we can see some more. It looks like the furnace was on it's last legs making this one--maybe why it is such a rare one. Marble--On!!
  5. The Batman has him by the throat----Yes? LOL
  6. He is a bank teller--yes?
  7. I think that it is a nice Rainbo Fire. Marble--On!!

  12. Nice score Mojo! That clay (china) is a killer size. Those velis are not too shabby either--very nice! Marble--On!!
  13. Grape nuts on ice cream yummmmm!
  14. No copy and paste here😁. I think that you have a Peltier slag there. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!
  15. Yes, I just copied and pasted😄. This is a machine made slag--there is no hand-gathering is obvious to me. I would sort it as an Akro. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!

  17. I agree with Chad. There are stress cracks on this one that occured during the annealing process (the cooling down period after the marble was off the rollers). I have seen plenty of Heatons with this feature. Swirl not slag for sure! Marble--On!!
  18. I would not count it out, Akro made some oxblood that was more transparent than opaque CharlieT--a good observation for sure! Nice images mccracken, The fact that @Alan has a few like this makes me wonder. I am inspecting the damage on the marble, this usually will determine old vs newer. Newer glass in my experience is softer and more prone to little white hit marks. Jabo is a good example of these little whit hit marks. @Nantucketdink has a very good handle on Jabo marbles, he could clear this up for sure. There appear to be striated scratches not common to game play but more often found in a marble from a dig-site. @Steph may be right on the older WVS idea and @cheese and @Ric both have been on the digs and may offer an opinion. I see why mccracken though that it may be a Pelt—lots of bubbles. Experimetal marbles were not always cooked like production types and this may explain the “bubblicious” nature of this one. I am leaning towards a vintage dug marble, it may be from any number of dig sites imho. If @Fire1981 did not recognize it, then I doubt that it is a Pelt. We cannot ID them all—but we sure as heck can try. Thanks all!! Marble—On!!
  19. Welcome into the fold Diana. Good to see that you admit the truth. Marbles are a tuff egg to crack. We are all looking forward to some images as Chad suggests. Marble--On!!

    19/32,

Thanks cheese, it is a nice one for sure. Marble--On!!
  21. Tricky for sure and it could be vintage or--- The vaseline colored glass and the one cutline that I can see reminds me of some Akro that I have seen. That being said--it may be easier to determine if both cutlines are shown. Natural sunlight please. Marble--On!!
