  1. Marble --On Alan--we all have the ultimate marble--until we find the next one.
  2. Well consider this, Vitro sent a lot of equipment to the state of Washington, then sent it back. I am just guessing but the trek to Mexico may have been cheaper. The rollers/cutter assembly are the bones of any marble machine. I doubt that they sent any furnaces. These parts are heavy and made of high grade steel, they were not cheap to make by any standard. The Vacor Factory may have purchashed these parts from the good ole USA when they first started. Steel from the USA is still the best imho. As far as the Pelt Machine going down south of the border--It may have been a dream, but I remember seeing it some place. Marble--On!!
  3. I get it and I appreciate your input. Marble On!!
  4. Laugh out loud!! Yes in script! I love this stuff! The Weather! This is when Marble Collecting comes into play. Go ahead, get bored and then check your collection--go for a walk, first if possible--then just-- Marble--On!!
  5. Do not get me wrong, Ron was probably “right one”—they are rare—but, considering the stamps, the construction and the amount of efforts of cost, production wise, I would be surprised if not one but a few thousand of these were made, at least a few hundred imho. There was too much money invested to find a few of these! I will find one—I am sure!! Keep looking all-these are very rare indeed! Marble—On!!

    Peltier ?

Nope! The Vacor "Seahorse" is one of the best looking--"Pelt like" that Vacor has manufactured. The colors just do not add up. Excellant call Melissa! Marble--On!!
  7. What the heck is right as far as I am concerned! Glass is glass. How could one color or swirl be defined from another color or swirl during even a "beach find" . Very cool Fire—verry—verrry cool—very cool—a keeper for sure! I am stumped—chemicals/acid had to have a play here imho. Of course, more opinions are needed and always welcomed--- Marble—Om!

    Vitro ?

The first one is a “Trilite”—the second one also imho. The third is a “Parrot” with some with some white showing—still nice! (size here is important) More opinions are needed and always welcomed. Marble—On!!

    Akro ?

I am looking for the post but this type was addresed recently. Jabo--"Classic". I blew it, the ID but many punched in and nailed it. The white still gets me here--it looks so pure! @Nantucketdink was the one that Id'd these as I remember. Marble--On!!
  10. I would lean toward Vitro here rather than Peltier for some unknown reason Mojo. It may be the big long cutmarks. @Ric would be my go to here and I will put him on the spot. Marble--On!!
  11. Thanks Mojo--just an addition--these are not very common in the good ole USA. Marble--On!!
  12. Yes, the extra images helped quite a bit. The "Pinkish"white helps alot in the ID of these. It is a very nice group and well worth any collection. Marble--On!!
  13. I, for one, am glad to see that this one blew your mind. In my experience, somewhere, somehow--- I have the slight memory of a Peltier machine being purchased by Vacor. In today’s world these are called “Picasso” by Vacor. It is an older version and imho who knows if it even had a name when it was made. Some “earlier” Peltiers also had this “tongue” of glass that would streak down the side of the marble in the way that yours shows. Other makers would show this tongue sometimes but in my experience the most common that exhibit it are Peltier and Vacor. Pelt vs Vacor has been a hard thing for many collectors for many years now, yours is a Vacor and I am solid here. My only ask would be from @Mojo—he is my go to as far as Vacor is considered and he always gives an honest answer. These are just my observations and many more opinions are needed and welcomed. Marble—On!!
  14. Nice for sure. The two colored marbles do not get much attention but this is no mere "Rainbo" imho. At this size, it is top notch and deserves more attention. Perhaps @Chad G. or @cheese, amongst others will weigh in here. More opinions are needed for sure. Marble--On!!
  15. Ric was right on with this one as far as I am concerned--my first tought was--Wow, that's an Akro. Nice find and a good ID as well. ( not an easy ID imho) Marble--On!!
  16. My favorite Ugly is just a marble--kind of a "Charlie Brown" in the marble collecting world as far as I am concerned. Why else would I get them so cheap. I just love a good "Muddy", I wish for a box full someday. I love an under-dog--always have. "Beauty is in the heart of the beholder". Thanks all for that, please do not bid and let me have them all--- Marble--On!!
  17. Very cool schmoozer, just a question, if you remember. Were these marbles in the lamp 7/8"like the "Master Trays"? Thanks and marble--On!!
  18. Very Nice Mojo! That "Popeye" is a real nice one. These "Popeyes" with the washed out green are not an easy find for me. Very cool! Marble--On!!
  19. MCR?--I agree. The Vitro is nice as well. Marble--On!!
  20. That may be it Ric a "Flicker", the bird not the marble. I have had one at the birdfeeder this winter. A "Northern Flicker". I have been feeding birds since I first was married (a long time,45 years now). I have never had one at a feeder--ever. He/she does appreciate the suet for sure. Marble--On!!
  21. I agree with all above, Ric was on it here👌. The Op is a familiar marble to me. I love the big blow hole--wear it with pride, this is a Pelt after all. Yours looks more orange than what I prefer--almost a "Coral" color. All are nice--even the "aw crap"😁. Marble--On!!
  22. Here is an Akro "Milkie" gone wild. I would not call it a Turkey--maybe a Cormorant--🤢. Marble--On!!
  23. Just "Killer fire". Marble--On!!
  24. This one is a Vitro imho. I alway appreciate more opinions. Marble--On!!
