  1. Umm-milky ox from Akro are the most common ox imho but is that another one with blue involved today? Quite rare if it is one. You have quite a few Akro silver ox in these images if you look closely. I do not see any really high dollar oxbloods here. The lemonade Ox is(tops in great shape) it is next to a patch until you show us different. Nice group--all worth some trade money for sure. There are a few that are questionable as far as Oxblood is considered imho. Marble--On!!
  2. A pretty common attempt imho at making a marble. Like Ric says, a signature would make someone standup and say this is mine--no one is standing up here. If I made it I would be proud of it--never sell it though. Marble--On!!

    Modern?

These could be pre 2000 Imperials and who knows were they came from? Imperials came from a multitude of countries---many, including Mexico. Imperial was or still may be a company on the west coast that improrted many toys, including marbles. I would lean towards an Asian manufacturer here. Marble--On!!
  4. Well, That is quite a mix and there are more than likely a few Jabo in there. I think that most are wvs. Marble--On!!
  5. This one is a Rainbo. Marble--On!!

    Sunset?

That big bloe hole throughs me off a bit--I have not seen many in a Jabo. This one may be a result of your images ( a bit dark) but I will consider a Jabo --Classic here--they were not all swirls. Marble--On!!
  7. There are many "Black" marbles, most are Deep blue, brown or green, some may be purple. Yours is a deep blue imho. Do not get me wrong here this is just a very nice corkscrew. ( very nice) Ron Shepard had evidence of a black marble glass recipe--I have seen no evidence as of yet, but if he saw it--I believe it. Black glass in any form--not just marbles is very rare. Cheese is right--this is a close as it gets for me too. Nice Marble--they do get blacker-- Backlight them all and be rewarded. Marble--On!!
  8. How did we lose this one? Did you give up? More images are needed here VAMarbles--this one is just top notch.
  9. I agree that this one is a Master tkt--earlier. Marble--On!!
  10. There is a point when oogly transfers into beauty. This is the case here. Any one that can show me one that is better than this one—a challenge---good coverage all the way around--just a normal marble that was made special --from the digs? Top Notch @Ric. Marble—On!!
  11. I agree, Mojo is missed here for sure. Marble--On!!
  12. Pretty cool marble and it looks to be original surface as well. (maybe buffed a bit--the surface looks a tad dull). This size is not very common in my experience. Great find! Thanks for sharing it. Marble--On!!
  13. Good eye Fire--this one carries some blue. Pretty weird! I am 50-50 between Alley and Akro here. Both choices would be weird imho. I want them all to be Akro--just me. Great marble--great eyes by all. Marble--On!!

  21. X4 these are nice ones to look at--very cool. Marble--On!!
  22. Almost all the marble companies used glass cullet that they purchased from a variety of glass manufacturers including some that used this type. There is no doubt some marbles have glass from a maker that used this type including the window makers, the jar makers and the ponds cold cream makers-along with the many others. Marble—On!!
