It could well be. The difference is the finish--the last one is just too shiny and I think that it has been fixed with something to make it look like it is not. If I were looking to bid, I would be very skeptical. All marbles look better with a little spit appliedđ¤Š. Just mhoâ MarbleâOn!!

Bogard is the most famous maker of "black" veined cats imho. The ones that I have are most commonly found in the "Mountaineer Shooters" blister pack. The one that I have are all four viened. That being said, they do not all come out perfect but if yours has less that four vanes I would suggest an asian made marble. Marble--On!!

Left--left--left. You must be a Nascar racing fan! Marble--On!!

All opinions are welcomed here--keep them coming, all of you! I welcome them all, as all of us here on the "marbleconnection" do. None of us here are beyond any learning----I learn everyday--love it! Marble--On!!

Asian or Mexican. The Vacor "Blue Dolphin" might be a candidate. I just reviewed the Vacor web page and the base colors are all over the place in shades of blue. The patch or striping colors are not too consitant either. Marble--On!!

1700? My eyes are getting bloodshot just thinking about itđ. I don't think I could do much over 300 in one day without blood running down my cheeksđ. You are a sorting machine! Marble--On!!

I agree, pretty neat. We will probably not be able to identify the maker. This is a machine made marble with some unintended âpollutionâ. They do show up from time to time in the wild. Usually these were picked out and discarded at the factory. Yours was more than likely indeed to be a âClearyâ and I can understand why they missed it at the factoryâhard to spot. Backlight them all and maybe find one or two more in the future. Pretty neat for sureâa keeper! MarbleâOn!!

Welcome to "themarbleconnection" Caterpillar. Show us what you have for sure. Marble--On!!

Too many bubbles to be a Vacor Atmosphere imho--my guess would be an older "Bulgarian"--not really that old but they are getting better at what "They" do. As always, more opinions are needed and respected. Marble--On!!

Hit it with some UV Mojo--you know what the older glass usually does. Regardless--nice find, I might have hooked them as well. Marble--On!!

This is a nice sized amber slag imho. Probably made by MFC. More opinions are welcomed and needed here. Marble--On!!

Well consider this, Vitro sent a lot of equipment to the state of Washington, then sent it back. I am just guessing but the trek to Mexico may have been cheaper. The rollers/cutter assembly are the bones of any marble machine. I doubt that they sent any furnaces. These parts are heavy and made of high grade steel, they were not cheap to make by any standard. The Vacor Factory may have purchashed these parts from the good ole USA when they first started. Steel from the USA is still the best imho. As far as the Pelt Machine going down south of the border--It may have been a dream, but I remember seeing it some place. Marble--On!!

I get it and I appreciate your input. Marble On!!

Laugh out loud!! Yes in script! I love this stuff! The Weather! This is when Marble Collecting comes into play. Go ahead, get bored and then check your collection--go for a walk, first if possible--then just-- Marble--On!!

Do not get me wrong, Ron was probably âright oneââthey are rareâbut, considering the stamps, the construction and the amount of efforts of cost, production wise, I would be surprised if not one but a few thousand of these were made, at least a few hundred imho. There was too much money invested to find a few of these! I will find oneâI am sure!! Keep looking all-these are very rare indeed! MarbleâOn!!

Nope! The Vacor "Seahorse" is one of the best looking--"Pelt like" that Vacor has manufactured. The colors just do not add up. Excellant call Melissa! Marble--On!!

What the heck is right as far as I am concerned! Glass is glass. How could one color or swirl be defined from another color or swirl during even a "beach find" . Very cool Fireâverryâverrry coolâvery coolâa keeper for sure! I am stumpedâchemicals/acid had to have a play here imho. Of course, more opinions are needed and always welcomed--- MarbleâOm!

The first one is a âTriliteââthe second one also imho. The third is a âParrotâ with some with some white showingâstill nice! (size here is important) More opinions are needed and always welcomed. MarbleâOn!!

I am looking for the post but this type was addresed recently. Jabo--"Classic". I blew it, the ID but many punched in and nailed it. The white still gets me here--it looks so pure! @Nantucketdink was the one that Id'd these as I remember. Marble--On!!

I would lean toward Vitro here rather than Peltier for some unknown reason Mojo. It may be the big long cutmarks. @Ric would be my go to here and I will put him on the spot. Marble--On!!
