  1. Excellent Ric! Marble—On!!
  2. Very nice find boris64--very nice. I would like to see some more of the one on the very right hand and the one second from the left. Nice for sure! Marble--On!!
  3. Funny thing Ric, I just spent the last 45 minutes tring to figure out Brians link here--I started a new folder. Is that "sparkle in the gold? As far as @akronmarbles goes--make some more marbles Brian and post here when you do. I love -em and many here do. Great find Ric!! Marble--On!!
  4. I am sorry to hear that you are giving your collection up Sherryfain. This might be the way for you and I respect that. If you are willing to give up about 30%, there are many sellers out there that will "Take a look". You can alway test the waters on e-bay with a group here or there. You have been a bright light here one "TheMarbleConnection" and I would hate to see the end of your passion for these great little orbs. Consider selling your furniture instead--lol, like I would--or your Husband or dog. I wish you well-- Marble--On!!
  5. Welcome to the club boris64. That is a great group and what I was looking for is right. Look for facets --or flat spots on the agate. The Brick appears to be an Akro imho. The rest are just killer and I will leave them up for opinions for now. What a great find! Marble--On!!
  6. Fire and Steph have it right imho. Have I ever said Fire and Steph before in the same sentence? Oh well, show more images of the left one and I am sure that it will show up as an Akro Agate patch The others are very cool Vitro and @Ric has to step in for a final evaluation on them, he is the Vitro go to imho Marble—On!!
  7. I might just name my next dog "Jaspers". Marble--On!!
  8. Red slags are the tops for me-----except for the very best slag ever made imho- The CAC Electric Yellow! Marble--On!!
  9. Was sold , or was purchased? You do not have to wait for an ID. Show us what you have in mind--we are not shy here. The colors do not line up with CAC imho Post here before you buy--or sell for that matter. If we cannot ID a marble here, well--no-one can imho. It is a very nice looking marble, rare in coloration. I am seeing a deep red on an almost purplish/blue base glass. It is a very nice looking marble. It may be an Alley, more opinions are needed and all are respected. Marble--On!!
  10. Ric knows these clays better than I do--go with his ID for sure. Marble--On!!
  11. Wow—nice group, they all appear to be in very good shape. The first image, the top one is an “Agate”, or stone marble imho. More images are needed of this one. I am pretty sure that you have a “Brick” mixed into this bunch, the red and white more solid than the others. The “pin pontil” that you show is actually a “blow out” made during production—a bubble in the glass that exploded out-words and became part of the marble—a factory defect, not aftermarket damage. I hope that this helps, you have some great slag’s here and they may have to be broken down into threes or fours with proper images of all sides to get a good ID. I for one am looking forward to it. Marble—On!!
  12. Well, blue, green and white I would call tri-colors--not an easy find in my world. Bennies imho. Nice find! Marble--On!!
  13. Wow Ric, I thought that I had some cool "Corals". This one is just off the charts---Verrrryyyy cooool!! Thanks for sharing it! Marble--On!!
  14. I have posted a few images below. Vacor "Earth” is correct, from 2015 earlier or later. Mega had a few different package designs that these sets came in. Vacor via Mega put these sets out. “Oceans of the World and “Solar System”, there may be a few more that I am not aware of. If your “Earth” came from one of these sets it should measure in @ 5/8”. The set that I show is marked 2015 it was beat up so I opened it for further investigation. The “Earth” marble will show blue and green speckles on what appears to be a semi transparent base—a very pretty marble indeed. The “Earth” marble was made with the same methods as the Vacor “Galaxy” and yours may have been one that came out of a net of “Galaxies”, some of these were named and some were not, yours is an “Earth” Marble—On!!
  15. I will agree with Champion just because of the crossover between them and Jabo. They do look like Jabo but they also look like Champion from the later years. I do not see the hit marks on my PC and this is my lean--Champion, for that reason. They are not worth a whole bunch of money--that can be agreed one for one thing. It is a good topic for discussion however. Marble--On!!
  16. This is a tuff one for sure but imho the first two images show the same cutline. The last image shows the other. The rest of the images show MFC hand-gathered to me, no CAC. More opinions are needed for sure—this is just mine. Nice find! Marble—On!!
  17. My first thought was Champion and I will post an image of why I agree wtih Ric. A bunch of dug Champions are posted below. Check out the RWB ones--very cool, just not yours. Marble--On!!
  18. I get you Ric, the staples are way too rusty to open and curiousity always kills the cat---but I know that you would like an answer, just because--. I for one, support you either way. Marble--On!!
  19. First of all, it may be rare. I think that this one is more than likely a Master Made Marble Second of all check out the images. The damage appears to be melted into/out of the marble. I have not seen any “dug Masters”, this may be one. Or, who in their right mind would torch a Master. The rest of the damage says otherwise. I just purchased it and I will let you all know. This is my way, if I see something weird I will buy it for a reasonable price just to get a handle on it. Some folks spend more than this on beer in one day—not me—lol. Thanks for the heads up! Marble—On!!
  20. I have seen them—online, the nets. I have never had one in hand. Soooo- is it a straight up Cleary? I have seen many Akro "clearies" that will exhibit the maker from either backlighting or UV light. The backlighting takes a dark room and an enclosed light that the marble can sit on as does the UV experiment. You can do it through a net—not so easy in a poly bag. This, believe it or not may me a clue as to who really made these. I wish you luck Ric, Marble—On!!
  21. akroorka

    NLR ?

Pelt works for me Mojo, I am not too sure about it being a NLR though. It does resemble a MK---- A nice "Rainbo"? Marble--On!!
  22. I have done this more times that I am willing to admit--from e-bay. This is usually where the curiosity kills the cat. Marble--On!!
  23. Pretty cool Joe2. Vacor Oxblood? Very cool. Marble--On!!
