Thanks Akroorka, I can put that one to bed now. The Mib is not quite round, it goes .60 to .62

Thanks William.

Thanks Chad, lot to learn. I have a question about pelts and have attached another photo to this thread. Most Pelts I can identify have ribbons with the outside of the band being the same color. Here is a pic of one that sure looks Pelt but the bands have alternating red and white on the outside of the band. Does this happen often or is this not a Pelt?

Thanks everyone. On the left one I have never seen an Ally of that configuration, so learned something new again
-
On the left .64/ .65 translucent, no idea? Couple of photos of it under light but not very good as the last two pics?? In middle .60 Pelt Rainbo but don't know knickname? if there is any. On right .60/.61 Alley.
-
Thinking WV Swirls. Left .63 Heaton or Ravenswood. Middle .57?? Right .61 Heaton or Ravenswood. Don't think Alley on any of them.
-
Thanks guys, again not what I was hoping.

Possible Pelitier Red Bee but don't see cut lines, probably a WV swirl-Ally would be my guess. Sure like it though. .97

Could the Mib in the middle be a Pelt Red Bee?
-
Ran into some shooters today. Left to right .91, .97, .91. Right maybe MK, left hoping for Cork, middle no clue
-
Saw one like that recently and it was called Pelt Indian Blanket. Not sure they knew though.

Thanks everyone, always appreciated.

Mib on the left .61 appears to be Pelt, but does it have a specific name? Mib in the middle .66 appears to me to be an alley? Mib on the right .66 was previously identified as a Master by Steph. Sorry for the repeat but just used an exiting photo.

Browsing this morning and came across this thread and got me looking through a recent find. Is the attached red mib a Micca? Also attached a white one?? Red is .53 and white is .76. -
Very cool, now you will have my wife out there looking for snails.

Like you I am new to collecting and it can be frustrating and daunting trying to learn to ID particular marbles. I started collecting what I liked and thought I would learn later, which is what is happening, but am slowing down on the finding somewhat and studying more. The help of this group is excellent, but they can't do all the work for us. I have become more selective as I learn more, being able to mostly keep away from bad deals and getting lucky sometimes. I hope you stayed in involved, but if not and you decide to sell I may be interested.

Thanks Steph, I knew that I was not doing things right and will do better next time.

These are from a find posted earlier today with the Boyds art glass car. I'm fairly sure of some of them but i'm hoping you guys can put me straight on all. Probably to many at one time for that I apologize, just trying to work with a new camera and setting.

Nice they don't make cars with style like that anymore

akroorka, I had a Hudson 54 Hudson Jet, but it was the opposite of fast. Still a good little car.

Thanks guys, I'll try to post photos tonight.
