  2. Since I am not on the boards very often, we were not aware of what had happened until this afternoon when I got a telephone call telling us this terrible news. We have known Edna and Weldon for many years and this is not the news anyone wants to hear. Edna, we want you to know that our prayers are with you and your family. Hang in there!!! Mary M and Stan
  3. It has been sooooo long since I have posted on any of the boards, I almost forgot how to do it and not too sure I'm correct now. Just wanted to thank you for the report. I have been hopeing someone would do this. This is the second time we have missed this show since 1989. Really hated not being there but appreciate the report. Mary M --mm--

  9. I had not checked the boards for several days and when I did, I was shocked to see the news about Patry. I had known her for a long time through the boards and was lucky enough to meet her in person at the 2004 Dallas show. We had several visits during the show and she had some of her outstanding marbles with her. What a pleasure! My condolences to her family. I do have these two pictures that I found. I thought maybe her family might like to copy them. --mm- - This is Patry on the right and on the left in both pictures.

    Holy Crap!

Good grief!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't try to send that darn thing. I was trying to find the right one to send for Sue and it was NOT that one. For some reason, I can't find the full section of these darn emoticons and this one just poped up and it was GONE. So I'll just SAY it................Thanks Sue for hanging in there and I also wanted to say THANKS to Andrea for showing the beautiful Superboy. It is an outstanding marble. --mm--

    Holy Crap!

WOW!! That is one beautiful marble! Superman...Superboy I really don't care. The purest would call it a Superboy since it does not have a true yellow, but to tell you the truth these purests give me a pain. I call them whatever I want and have been collecting them longer than they had a name. :Happy_050: --mm--
  12. It's been so long since I h ave posted, I'm not sure I remember how..........Anyway, I asked Stan about what kind of marble that they called Snotties when he was a kid. (about 100 years ago) He said they called all slags....Snotties. It didn't make any difference just what color it might be. Now I have no idea if this is correct, it's just what the kids in Oklahoma called them. -mm--
