You can use EBay search, then filter, then “completed sales” to get an idea of pricing. Also, Block Marble Auctions has past auction results that gives you an idea of the high end values. Block is predominantly “mint” marbles. Anyone can sign up for Block.

You don’t look like a fool! Marble identification is a lifetime endeavor and seams are only one part of the ID process. Everyone gets discouraged, I know I do at times. It’s a 2 steps forward and 1 step back process. You’ll get better and better if you persevere. -

Honey onyx should have a semi-opaque white base with a thin translucent brown patch and a thin translucent green stripe. Maybe the one on the left in the “family” but can’t see the other two meeting the criteria.
