I have even had an excellent advanced tutorial in determining Alleys from Ravenswood and it still can be tricky, one to one, still can be maddening and I still stub my toe on one! I do much better with one in hand then by photos...

For me, I would say yes that view shows 4 tips. Cool. Of course, others make their own call.

I agree definitely Alley. These days to be a Flame, people are looking for four tips... I think I can only see three loosely formed ones.

I was thinking Pelt Rainbo too with damage. If it weren't so opposite each other, I would think someone threw it on the pavement. -

1. Alley for sure. The other 3... I'd guess I'd put them with my West Virginia Swirls. So I would go with wvrons' answer!

x2. Not normal but does happen. It is very noticeable, it's often snagged by the sorters before it drops into the buckets for shipping.
