  1. Oh gosh, I just realized I want to start getting Euro Sparklers with oxblood or diving ox like the Jabo, to add to my Ox collection! oooh yeah!!!!!
  2. I have six or eight excellent examples of oxblood which I bought right away when I started collecting. I even have a questionable marble with questionable ox, which is not, right there with them so it is quick to tell the difference. I review them regularly when I look at oxblood, so yes agreed. Euro sparklers with oxblood on the interior is a whole new topic for me here but I have plenty of knowledge that I can apply plus add what is here. A nice adventure! even without aventurine.. 😆 Thanks!!
  3. Let me ask this. Since it is easier to ID oxblood when it's on surface because it tends to float and often has those obvious striations, how can you tell if it's oxblood when it's inside a marble? It seems to behave differently and have different color.
  4. So many myths. Thanks. Another One Bites the Dust!
  5. Come to think of it. I seem to recall that a percentage of Oxblood that they put into a furnace can end up not visible on the marble but inside the marble. Those being on opaque base, you wouldn't see it. This is a clear marble, so yes, I can see how easy it would be to have oxblood inside a marble and be visible.
  6. I've never heard of that, so I'm open to this new knowledge. These pictures don't help though... maybe I have to have it in hand.
  7. All kidding aside, separate posts are always easier... especially if, as often happens the dialogue gets complicated, then you might three or four marbles' discussion going back and forth and just swirling around.
  8. A separate post? hmmm, I'm assuming that you mean separate packages in the post office on their way being shipped to me! In which, case you can put them all in one post!!
  9. Goodness gracious, I've had days I don't even know which way is up, too!!
  10. Doesn't oxblood lay on the surface of the marble, maybe dives in a little bit. That makes me think these are dark colors and not oxblood cuz they're not on the surface. I don't see typical oxblood striations.
  11. I like Oxblood posts. Definitely seen milky Ox here!!
  12. I was getting Akro cork as I was going through the pictures, as well.
  13. wvrons "The simplest way that I now of: Any company and all companies that made them. Spiderman = Blue base and red Super Boy= Blue base and orange Superman = Blue base with red and yellow"
  14. A great super easy way to remember!
  15. Are you ready? It's super secret...hahaha: AAM is the abbreviation for this forum: All About Marbles. 😄 ðŸĪŠ
  16. Agree...corkscrew or swirl.
  17. The eBay marble looks more like the rare Tomato then the cool one that you auctioned off as Tomato. 😀 Nice digging!
  18. I vote yes on K is Vitro Helmets. Less common ones with yellow strip. Back views would confirm.
