  1. That would be a sight to behold, I say!
  2. Nice cork but seems to complex for Akro.
  3. Whew! I was getting concerned when you said that light shined through them. Thanks on the photos. if I take the time and use the two light setup it works great but since I don't have it set up all the time I get super lazy. I don't have room for it because I have marbles covering almost my entire dining room!!
  4. I'm assuming opaque means no light passes thru. I have 3 hanging 1955 Rotoflex lights over my dining room, on a dimmer, so I can really replicate the early dim lightning! But I'm sure they could take them out into the daylight or hold them up to a dim light and see translucent. Would be surprised if they didn't know what kind of marble they were marketing. Nontheless, using my LED flashlight, no light passes thru. Do I not have Master Comets....?🤔 . 5/8"
  5. Interesting. I have three Master Comets and back lit them and they're opaque!
  6. Drat!! I didn't connect that song with these marbles! I now have to have a memory remove procedure done!!
  7. Some of the marbles in the links look like they're made out of metal and are called Copperheads. That looks so cool and makes sense to me some. Other ones that are called Copperheads are a very lovely pastel and lots of delicate colors such as the OP. Those being called Copperheads seem like they're not and don't match the metallic quality. So historical record appears to have some conflicts in it, trying to resolve.
  8. Just sittin' here and glanced to my left and there they are, sparkling in the sun...
  9. I have no comment on what marble, it is but it has seen better days cuz it looks like it got played with. If Toy Story taught us anything, it taught us that toys aren't happy unless they're played with!! How wonderful!!
  10. Nice oxblood glass! It is at a premium! Very cool you had it sent to you!
  11. It looks like it could be oxblood but it's seriously out of focus. Need to see it sharply to know 100% because it's more than just the color, it's how it is actually on the marble. Unless someone has a lot of experience judging from out of focus photos, which I don't.
  12. Those are textbook examples! Cool. Mine is not, the blue on mine looks more gray if I don't look at it an absolute bright light and forgot that it's supposed to be blue. Got it. Thanks.
