A matter of clarification. Block did appraisals for other collectors that I know at no charge and for items that they had no intention to sell. He was able to identify them, give rather a lot of detail on them, at no charge, so...

You can always try Block's Marble Auctions. They do grade marbles against their own standard and they have a high reputation in the field. I know some high-level collectors that sell through them. I and others collectors I know have talked with them about appraising some marbles and have purchased through them. https://www.marbleauctions.com/appraisals

Totally a new box. I've seen them referred to as Fantasy Boxes. You can buy them readily, I've seen them for about 25 bucks on eBay. there's even a supplier who will custom print different things on it or offers different marble names on it like Master, etc.

I have read and heard several times that oxblood is confusing to newbies. Well now I can understand why. How can you have Blue Oxblood? Oxblood is blood red so it's supposed to be the color of blood: red. I've never seen blue blood and then purple oxblood and then other color oxblood?

When I asked that same question just a short while ago, I was also told that OP can mean "original picture" as opposed to what other pictures might have been added to the thread. 😃 -
I think there may have just been a little confusion here. The red on the OP is oxblood. The blue is blue color glass. I was misreading the original question, sorry for making that assumption. It is not blue oxblood but it is red oxblood on a marble that also has blue on it. So it is an Akro patch with oxblood and not an Akro Blue Oxblood IMO.
