Not that I think it is but I'm finding a lot of error vacors like this , what makes me look harder is crystal clear glass with small amounts of bubbles whispy threads on the surface the one photo shows a near horse shoe design another factor. Lastly is that wrinkly looking glass. These seem to occur to me as tuneup marbles , getting the temp dialed in and the start of new glass.

Nice group.

Of course that makes sense. Haven't looked at my toxic collection in awhile , now I have a shooter to set up a display. Thanks so much

A couple of whiskey colored slags for Saturdays slags and swirls. Handgathered player size. Mfc I believe

.6 it's been in my Ravenswood pile for a bit . The glass has a tuffed look where it dives into the matrix. Not too concerned who made it but it's a neat design . BTW indoor vegetable gardens are great for lighting 😛

Looks like a an anemic Michael Angelo or Millennium.

Merry Marble Christmas Exchange
davesnothere replied to Fire1981's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
I would be in in a heartbeat but shipping is too expensive in and out of Canada. Merry Xmas anyways . -
Wow that's messed up I would guess a poorly made peltier john deer . Did Kokomo run those colors?
-
I believe it's a green jewel
davesnothere replied to marblemanvintagemarbles's topic in Marble I.D.'s
I thought enchanted forest at first the color is spot on but the glass doesn't look right for Vacor. -
Now questioning this guy too…pelt mcs?
davesnothere replied to Guiltynotguilty81's topic in Marble I.D.'s
Out of comfort my zone but you're right the color is a bit off. -
Very nice wonky NLR in my opinion

Shooter so they do get get extra colors sometimes. Look like a cross with a king penguin and vampire. I love the comet guinea style they use on these. What do you think is it cool?
-
Not sure looks like a peltier mcs in my eyes. More experienced views needed.

Just my two cents worth. I find the forums just focus on giving Id's and very little in the way of discussions. When I am given a bit of history and knowledge it makes the hobby more interesting. Personaly I think the collectors have changed there's more interest in contemporary made then the the older mins due to price and availability. Example I have a strong collection of Germans and American made mibs but I spaz out over finding an interesting Vacor. I can afford to have a huge display of them fairly cheap. Maybe it time to change to sub forums. IE beginners spot ..where the conversations flow with info for newbies. A seasoned forum for top shelf collectors . A gallery to encourage better photos skills and show off , it's a hobby itself. A Vacor forum is as well the new classics are here to stay . Little things like post of the month or picture of the week could also help.

Could they be blue dolphins
-

They are odd , and I do have some monets in the correct sage green and a couple with a bit of yellow.

I have a few of these various sizes…need help
davesnothere replied to Kadillak's topic in Marble I.D.'s
The Persian blue could be made by vitro. Mine react to uv . I personally like the early game marbles they have some character and usually the colors were muddy if that's the correct term. The CAC question is tough to answer so I'll leave it with you research. I've been told if it's a CAC you'll know . Happy hunting.
