Awesome, I had this in with a bunch of "Cat eyes". I was going through them to see if I can find a particular few to post on the "Cat Eye" post. Thanks for the confirmation.

Lately I’ve been going through my small collection one at a time and see if I can narrow down an I.D. This little guy is .516 so it’s just shy a peewee. It does glow green if that helps. Is this Master Marble sunburst? thanks, B-rett

Melissa, I’m relatively new at this and like I’ve said in previous posts, I really like all marbles. I’m not too particular on one brand. These Jabo’s have caught my eye also. The makers have really made some beautiful marbles. I think these marbles will eventually have a following if they haven’t already. I know I like them can afford them. LOL. Here are some of the few I have. I don’t know what some of the names are, but I do think I have some classics and maybe some jokers. I kind of hope that one is a Superman color. B-rett

My son showed up at the house tonight with a birthday gift for me. My B-day was few days ago so, I wasn’t expecting this at all. If I’m not mistaken it’s a four paneled onion skin just shy of 13/16 and a red brick just shy of 3/4. The seller insisted it was an end of day.

Yes, I’m watching Stephen Bahr and David Tamulevich video right now talking Cairo marbles and the “Lightning” marbles. Stephen mentioned that a characteristic of a Cairo was a short ribbon like “C” swirl. I’ve sent a pic of mine. I looked up Cairo lightning and lo and behold it brought me to this site. On October 8 of 2022 .~Emily~. Posted a photo of a question about a similar marble. Not sure of the outcome.

So my son picked a jar Saturday with a few cool marbles in it. This is one we are not sure of. Especially the black line. With the eye loop it has a little hint of brown. Thanks.

Akrooka, that’s on Barkley Lake in Kentucky. My nephew got me into tournament fishing a couple years ago. You talk about a rush. Non-stop fishing for about 9 hours. Racing from spot to spot at 65-70 mph. It’s like finding a German handmade Lutz in a jar full of game marbles for $5.00 B-rett

Name is Brett. I like them all. My favorite part of this is the thrill of the hunt. I have a too many hobbies but this one I kinda compete with my son. We see who can come up with the best find. He’s been at it longer but I’m learning fast. And I’m a competitor.

Did a little pickin today and come across these. Didn’t spend much, so what the heck. Are these Vitro ? Marble king. I can’t find much on- line. Thought if I could ID them they would make good future reference.

I buy or trade for my knapping materials

I don’t look for artifacts much. I’ve been making them for more years than I want to tell. The Rolley hole marbles have really struck an interest in me. I have a bunch of stone that will not be good for projectile points but are big enough to make a marble.

Rolleyholeman, That is awesome. One of my other hobbies is flint knapping. Occasionally I have stone that I cannot use so I’ve started to round them over to make marbles. Here is one made of Buffalo River chert. The arrow head is made from the same rock.

One thing is for sure, it’s a beautiful marble. Chad, thanks for the brick picture line-up. I think I have a mulberry brick.

I found a web site called Joesmarbles.com that has a gozillion marbles to reference. I agree it’s Jabo. WOW these are beautiful marbles. B-rett

I finished a new display case yesterday and I needed marbles to fill it. I got one of my jars that I thought was full of game marbles and this was in the bunch. It’s transparent and has some streaks of orange user a black light. B-rett
