  1. Sorry for the delay- just some sparklers I had to hand to show the example, slightly bigger actually- between 21/32 and 3/4.
  2. And if you're feeling really creative you could add some of these... https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=27925&name=Tile, Round Corner 2 x 2 Macaroni&category=[Tile, Round]#T=S&O={"iconly":0} I'll leave you to it now.
  3. This may be a step too far for you (and I have no direct experience of using this) but this exists...https://www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/download.page
  4. Oh, yeah, I just realised searching through there is really tricky as there are really specific names for everything. I think what you need to do is start measuring everything by the stud size, instead of actual measurements. For example, a common size for a base plate would be 16 x 16 (I think you need to include the spaces in this sort of search term.) So, for your bricks, you might be after 2 x 4. Flat pieces are categorised as plates and what, for some reason me and my kids refer to as "puffed up", would come under bricks. Another way to find things is to look at some online lego instructions (can be downloaded from lego.com) and the parts list at the back will have all the part ID numbers, which should be able to be used as a search term. Hope this helps.
  5. You might find this site useful if you're not already familiar. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/main.page
  6. I've also been wondering how I can combine these 2 special interest of mine...I look forward to seeing your display once complete 😀
  7. Thanks, I do actually get a bit of a vitro feel from it, so maybe it goes with them for now...
  8. Thanks folks, 3 x "not really sure" make for a useful answer anyway - I don't need to fall down a rabbit hole trying to figure it out just yet.
  9. I don't know what category this falls into. Just under 5/8. Any info welcome, ta.
  10. Whoops, not got into the habit of using that term properly yet...
  11. Actually, to tell the truth - I actually found it when I was hoovering yesterday and assumed it came with the most recent lot I purchased. It's entirely likely that it came with a load of others that are Jabo, purchased at the start of the year...
  12. Thanks for input, whatever it is, it's a beautiful marble...
  13. Yeah, thought that could be a possibility, nothing else Jabo like in the lot though, mainly cats and clearies...
  14. This was bought with the 7/8 Alley that I put up the other day. It was pretty hard to capture, pictures are not as sharp as I'd hoped but I'd say the colours are true. It's lilac/lavender, blue (almost bleeding to green at edges), peach, yellow and I think it may sparkle a bit but I can't quite be sure. Just over 19/32.
  15. Thanks! I feel a bit nuts reading these old conversations, but it's really interesting joining things up.
  16. Hiya, thanks for taking the time to write. I think it was this thread that made me think there was some confusion. There's just so much to unpick in the world of swirls...I like the fact that some of the ID advice ends up being "just set it aside until one day maybe we can work it out".
  17. Thanks for the confirmation, I can move them on from my ? tub now.
  18. Apologies, as I know they are both pretty boring looking. Both 5/8, not great condition, grey one very uv reactive.
  19. Thanks. Basically, I was going through Ebay, trying to spot what sort of interesting stuff comes up the most (and therefore don't need to panic buy, thinking I might miss out), and a tiny picture of this caught my eye. I spent £20 on this punt (I'd just picked up my car from the garage and the work was significantly less than original quote, so i felt like it was vaguely justified, knowing it at least would be a learning opportunity) got a jarfull of mostly crap with it, so I was hoping I wasn't going to be completely wrong...
  20. Just under 11/16, bubbly, really good condition. Or is it just one of those unidentifiable WV swirls 🤔 ?
  21. I've read through everything I can online but can't quite figure out if there is also some confusion with this being Champion, or that's just because this type were in the bicentennial bags. Anyway, I'm hoping this is something interesting, but won't be surprised if I've got it wrong. 7/8
  22. Thanks, that's a helpful bit of info. I have a similar one that I think might be more modern, possibly Jabo. I'll put that up soon to test your skills a bit more
