well I just saw this ad wonder about it may be Graig will junp in , sounds like a dream come true. ? Mike This is a new box with the Akro Agate Logo on the lid. It contains 121 5/8" mint Imperial translucent style Akro corkscrews. These marbles all came out of an original 10,000 count wood crate of Akro's. Never used, never in a collection. Awesome set!

Hi All well I bought the marbles from Andrea well all I can say is they will be listed on ebay and see what was my cost of an education is . Mike (8) 1 1/2" 5-panel onionskin, polished with damage remaining. 4 color onion skin big 1 1/2 + POLISHED my ebay auction (10) 1 7/16" divided core in green, pink, blue; polished condition with flakes at both pontils. big 1 1/2 open divided core polished my ebay link (11) 1 3/8" divided core, 3 ribbons, 1 big flake near pontil, near mint minus. big 1 3/8+ open core three ribbons polished my ebay link Well lets see what my education will cost ,so far the tuition is at $320. for the set of 10 only bought 8 but received 10 and the rack marble #1 and #3 were sold . Mike Here is a group shot of 12 vintage handmade marbles, available individually or small groups or the whole group. I'll also sell the display unit if someone wants all 12. They sit very nicely in this thing, whatever it is. Here is a description from the top row, left to right: (1) 1 21/32" panelled onionskin in blue/white, red, green, yellow colors, near mint minus condition with all over wear. (2) 1 9/16" latticinio with blue/orange and green outer swirls; polished condition with a small amount of damage remaining. (3) 1 9/16" eagle sulphide, well centered and no bubbles; mint condition. (4) 1 19/32" panelled onionskin, green, yellow, blue and red, yellow; hazy surface and small flakes, near mint minus. (5) 1 19/32" panelled onionskin, red, white, blue and red, yellow; has large flake and an inconspicuous fracture. (6) 1 15/32" onionskin in mostly blue with a couple splotches of red; near mint. (7) 1 1/2" onionskin in lavender, pink and white (I think these are unusual colors); all over wear, near mint minus. (8) 1 1/2" 5-panel onionskin, polished with damage remaining. (9) 1 17/32" divided core in red, green, blue, yellow; 2 or 3 small flakes, near mint. (10) 1 7/16" divided core in green, pink, blue; polished condition with flakes at both pontils. (11) 1 3/8" divided core, 3 ribbons, 1 big flake near pontil, near mint minus. (12) 1 5/16" onionskin in teal blue with a splotch of red and 2 or 3 flakes of mica; "cooked" condition, very nice surface.

well very nice and he size , it is what looks like ?? just about all big marbles will have some kind of lines in the glass or some thing that shows , this looks like it is perfect right up to the pontil's . I would have to see it in hand before paying $700 plus . every one of mine hase some form or ripple or some thing in the glass . way to shinney for me . Mike

well I do not know what the activity was but it had to be big to get that many people together , all the buildings are still in town the empty field is where the first local school was put but now it is where the village hall is . as far as value the card sold for $24.00 . It was such a big event I bet the Lannon band played all night . threw some of these old post cards I found out that main street never went east till some time in the 30's . But back to the question about getting the pics I just tried a few things and must have some cookies not opened?? I now can right click on some pics and down load them , what I did I do not know but I went some place and un clicked some boxes and that seamed to help . Mike

Hi do you want to display your marbles or just store them ?? ,if you want to display be sure you have a lot of EXTRA ROOMS .I buy just about any cabinet that can turn and has lights ,I like to see what I have , I also use file cabinets and gum ball machines for bulk storage , If you need a timex cabinet I have an extra one that I most likley never finish . but there not cheep and you would have to be close to Lannon . well here is a saved marble some would call it a three stage ?? but I think the outer stage is two different one being the set of three 4 yellow lines with the set of three ribbons , being just a two stage .??? MIKE
